    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an IP telephone terminal to use optional functions and hardware circuits only by registering a license in a single server apparatus.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the server apparatus includes a license authentication section, a transmission control section, a registration control section and a service control section. The license authentication section performs license authentication by comparing a terminal ID included in a registration request with terminal IDs stored in a license storage section. The transmission control section reads out from the license storage section a license authentication code corresponding to a telephone terminal whose terminal ID has been matched by the license authentication section, and transmits to the telephone terminal the license authentication code with check information added for checking that the code is valid. The registration control section stores the terminal ID and the license authentication code associatively in a management table or rejects such storage in the management table on the basis of the check information attached to the license authentication code.

    • PURPOSE:To make ice blocks having uniform size by a method wherein a variation in an electrostatic capacitance between a pair of electrodes accompanying a water supplying operation is detected by an electrostatic capacitance sensing means. CONSTITUTION:An ice making pan 10 is made of insulating material such as plastics. Side surfaces of a small segment at one end facing to a water feeding port 9 and of a small segment at the other end and a bottom surface are formed with a pair of electrodes 21a and 21b of electrical conductive resin or the like. Water is sucked up by a water supplying pump 5 and guided to the ice making pan 10 through the water guiding port 9. Water is stored at a small segment at one end adjacent to the water feeding port 9, passes through a water communicating groove 15 arranged in a partition plate 13 and further flows to the small segment at the other end. Just after the water reaches the small segment to which the electrode 21b faces, a spacing between the electrodes 21a and 21b is made conductive by water, thereby a large electrostatical capacitance value C1 is attained. Amount of water within the ice making pan 10 is made uniform for each of the segments to get the most appropriate water level. Accordingly, it becomes possible to stop the water supplying pump 5 at the time when the electrostatic capacitance C1 is detected and then to make the ice blocks having well-arranged sizes.

The micro-computer 57 judges if the temperature sensor 15 is properly installed or not in response to a rising of temperature sensing signal from the temperature sensor 15 when a specified period of time elapses from a starting of heating operation. When it is judged that the temperature sensor 15 is not properly installed, it instructs a driving circuit 55 to restrict an amount of energization for a halogen lamp 9 and at the same time a display lamp 30 is lit. With such an arrangement, it is possible to restrict an amount of generated heat and assure safety in the heating cooker.

    • PURPOSE:To permit the control of freshness of foods easily with a high reliability by a method wherein the freshness of the foods is judged based on an impeadance between electrodes, which is detected by burying at least one pair of electrodes into the foods. CONSTITUTION:A freshness measuring chamber 3 preserves foods 5 necessary to be controlled in the freshness thereof and is provided with a plurality of detecting units 7 and judging units 9 for the measurement of the freshness. An indicating unit 11 is provided on an opening and closing door 13 for the freshness measuring chamber 3 to indicate a freshness measured under the control of the judging unit 9. In the detecting unit 7, a pair of electrode needles 15, 17 is fixed to a base body 19 with a predetermined space while the electrode needles are connected to the judging unit 9 through lead wires 21, 23. The electrode needles 15, 17 are buried into the foods 5 and measures an impeadance (including phases) from a voltage and a current between the electrode needles 15, 17, which are generated by the supply of electricity from an oscillating circuit 25 at every predetermined times, while compares it with the reference value of freshness, which is predetermined for every foods 5, to indicate the conditions of freshness of respective foods.
