摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an IP telephone terminal to use optional functions and hardware circuits only by registering a license in a single server apparatus.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the server apparatus includes a license authentication section, a transmission control section, a registration control section and a service control section. The license authentication section performs license authentication by comparing a terminal ID included in a registration request with terminal IDs stored in a license storage section. The transmission control section reads out from the license storage section a license authentication code corresponding to a telephone terminal whose terminal ID has been matched by the license authentication section, and transmits to the telephone terminal the license authentication code with check information added for checking that the code is valid. The registration control section stores the terminal ID and the license authentication code associatively in a management table or rejects such storage in the management table on the basis of the check information attached to the license authentication code.
