摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas fuel injection device capable of restricting generation of icing by vaporization heat of fuel in spite of simple constitution. SOLUTION: In an injector 1, an expansion chamber 10 for vaporizing compression fuel into gas fuel is formed in the middle of an injection passage 4 to communicate a fuel chamber 3 to which compression fuel pressurized and liquefied is introduced with an injection port 5. As a needle valve 6 is driven, the fuel chamber 3 is communicated with the injection port 5, and compression fuel introduced into the fuel chamber 3 passes the injection passage 4 to be vaporized in the expansion chamber 10 provided in the middle of it to be then injected from the injection port 5. Vaporization of fuel is thus conducted in the expansion chamber 10, whereby generation of icing at peripheral parts of the injection port 5 by cooling by vaporization heat is restricted.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder direct injection type internal combustion engine provided with a sealing device of a simple structure using an O-ring in an injector connecting part between a delivery pipe and a fuel supply hole of an injector and capable of maintaining high sealing performance in cold starting. SOLUTION: This fuel supply system comprises an injector 4 mounted on an engine head 3 and having an O-ring 6 around a fuel supply hole 5 on a top part, a delivery pipe 1 for receiving high pressure fuel attached on the engine head with a plurality of bolts 2, a cylindrical injector connecting part 7 for structuring a sealing device together with the O-ring 6 of the injector 4, and a cylindrical bolt attaching part 8 for inserting the bolt 2 formed on the delivery pipe 1. A building-up part 12 is formed on a part of a narrower clearance between the adjacent injector connecting part 7 and the bolt attaching part 8 and is reinforced, and thus the injector connecting part 7 immediately follows thermal expansion of the engine head 3.

SOLUTION: An ECU 4 controlling the fuel injection of an injector 2, is provided with a deciding means 41 for deciding that fuel within the injector 2 is changed into vapor, when the detected temperature of a cooling water temperature sensor 5 exceeds a prescribed value, and with an injection time increasing/decreasing means 42 for controlling the injection time of the injector 2 at the time of cranking so as to be increased/decreased repeatedly between a basic injection time and an injection time longer than the basic one. The system permits an A/F to be shifted to the rich side, even if the complete explosion takes place within the basic injection time when an A/F is lean, thereby the probability of success in starting is enhanced, and also permits vapor to be quickly exhausted out of the injector 2, so that time required by starting and completion can be shortened.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the discharge of hydrocarbon (HC) at the starting time without causing the output lowering of an internal combustion engine and dispense with an electric heater or the like for the early activation of a catalyst. CONSTITUTION:A bent part (an adsorption box 12) is formed at the intermediate part of an exhaust pipe 4 connecting an exhaust port 14 to a catalyst for purifying HC and the like in exhaust gas, and HC adsorbent 15 of honey comb structure is disposed frontward in the unbent rectilinear direction in the bent part. The exhaust gas flowing out of the exhaust port 4 is bent to flow into the exhaust pipe 4, but HC with large grain diameter moves rectilinearly along a stream lining blade 13 so as to be adsorbed by the HC adsorbent 15 and held for a while. In the meantime, the temperature of the catalyst connected to the exhaust pipe 4 rises to activate and purify HC and the like desorbed by the temperature rise of the adsorbent 15. A separate HC catalyst can be carried by the front face part, liable to become high in temperature, of the adsorbent 15, or an EGR(exhaust gas recirculation) passage provided with an EGR control valve can be connected to the lower reaches of the absorbent 15.

SOLUTION: A clearance between a cam 1 and a tappet 3 is so increased that a buffering part 10 of the cam 1 is not abutted against the tappet 3 when a valve 10 is seated. Shock generated at the time of seating the valve 10 is thus increased. Seating force of the valve 10 is also increased for improving sealability. Foreign materials such as carbon can easily be crushed by the shock power at the time of seating. Neither escape of air-fuel mixture nor biting of foreign materials deteriorate startability of the internal combustion engine.

Then, the CPU 33 corrects a fuel injection quantity by using each parameter. In this case, when the absolute value of intake pressure PM is set on a positive side (such as when a vehicle is accelerated), the rate that injection fuel is stuck on the wall surface of the intake pipe and the remaining rate in the cylinder are increased, and also the remaining rate of fuel stuck to the intake pipe and the rate that fuel injection is stuck on the wall surface in the cylinder are decreased, and when the absolute value of intake pressure PM is set on a negative side (such as when the vehicle is decelerated), the rate of fuel injection stuck on the wall surface of the intake pipe and the remaining rate in the cylinder are decreased, and also the remaining rate of fuel stuck to the intake pipe and the rate of fuel injection stuck on the wall surface in the cylinder are increased.
