    • PURPOSE: To automate correction of a magnet by correcting the magnet face based on the movement quantity which is formed by adding the correction quantity data of respective magnets based on the relative movement contact position data of respective magnet faces and renewing the data of the magnet diameter and width at every correction of the magnet. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic wheel 7 and a magnet corrector 10 correct the surface of the grinding face of the grinding wheel 7, which relatively moves so as to be approached /separated from the corrector 10 by motor drive circuits 23, 24, under the control of a numerical controller 30. When the magnet face of the grinding wheel 7 and a contact counterface are contacted with each other and the contact is detected by a contact detector 12, in their contacting, the relative movement contact position data between the magnet wheel 7 and the magnet corrector 10 is stored in a memory 32. After the contact counterpart of the contact detector 12 and the magnetic face are separated, the magnet correcting tool (truer) 13 and the magnet face approach to each other and this approach movement is controlled based on the relative movement contact position data, the correction quantity data, etc., which are stored beforehand.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a grinding wheel truing device, which can true a grinding wheel without receiving the bad influence of backlash or the like, by eliminating the reversal of a grinding wheel in the moving direction during the truing operation. CONSTITUTION:A grinding surface 1a, which has a semi-circular cross section, of a grinding wheel 1, of which maximum outer diameter exists in the central part of the axial direction, is cut from the left side edge of the grinding wheel 1 to the central part of the axial direction by the turn of a truing roll 2 and the movement and the lowering of the grinding wheel 1 in the axial direction on the basis of a first truing program 51 provided in a memory device 31 of a numerically controlled device 31, and thereafter, the grinding surface 1a is cut from the right side edge of the grinding wheel 1 to the central part in the axial direction by the turn of the truing roll 2 and the movement and the lowering of the grinding wheel 1 in the axial direction on the basis of a second truing program. Reversal of the grinding wheel 1 in the moving direction during the truing operation is eliminated by dividing one time of truing operation of the grinding surface 1a into a left side part and a right side part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main shaft device facilitating maintenance and inspection, allowing the use of a compact brake device and a general-purpose encoder, and facilitating the exchange of parts without prolonging a main shaft. SOLUTION: An auxiliary shaft 84 is rotatably supported in parallel with a main shaft 20, and the rotation of the main shaft 20 is transmitted to the auxiliary shaft 84 through a transmission gear 82 and a gear 86. An electromagnetic brake 92 and an encoder 94 are attached to an end part of the auxiliary shaft 84. Since a braking force acts on the main shaft 20 by operating the electromagnetic brake 92 it is unnecessary to provide a brake means having a large diameter in an intermediate part of the main shaft 20. Moreover, since the encoder 94 is not attached to the intermediate part of the main shaft 20 but is attached to the end part of the auxiliary shaft 84, it is unnecessary to use an encoder having a special shape. Furthermore, it is possible to shorten a total length of the main shaft 20 and facilitate maintenance and inspection works because it is attached to the end part of the auxiliary shaft 84.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing device of small and simple structure in which any extra load is not applied to a detecting means and measurement contact positions are kept unchanged. SOLUTION: The sizing device of a crankshaft finishing machine comprises a supporting table 4 provided so that it can be moved in the forward and backward directions at a position opposed to the crank pin P of a crankshaft S, detecting parts 20 and 21 provided on the supporting table 4 so that it can be displaced two-dimensionally on a plane vertical to the axis of the crankshaft S and an eccentric part 19 which is installed eccentrically on a rotating body 18 rotated in synchronous with the crankshaft S about a rotating axis in parallel with the axis of the crankshaft S in order to use, as a detection part, a revolution of the same diameter in synchronous with the revolving crank pin P and which engaged with that detection part. After a detection means is engaged with the crank pin P, the eccentric part of the rotating body is revolved in synchronous with the revolving of the crank pin P. Thus the diameter of the crank pin P during working is detected while the engagement of the detection means and the crank pin P is maintained.
