摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the stability of travel, at a curved rail zone in a bolster-less type railway vehicle bogie by constructing the bogies such that, when they reach the curved rail zone of a railway, each of them is greatly moved in back-and-forth directions and moved outwardly from the curved rails by centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION:Longitudinal levers 16, which are vertically arranged at mutually opposite widthwise end positions, respectively, of sides of the underside of a vehicle body, each have its lower end portion pivotally attached to a holder arm 17 fixed to a side beam 1 of a bogie frame, the upper end portion of each longitudinal lever 16 being pivoted to one end of a horizontal link 18. The other end of this horizontal link 18 is pivoted to a lower end portion of a vertical link 19 having its upper end pivoted to the underside of the vehicle body 11. Two operation links 20, 21, which are pivoted at one end to shaft boxes 5 via elastic members respectively, are rotatably connected at the other end to the longitudinal lever 16 at positions spaced by the same distance b in opposite directions from a center of connection N between the longitudinal lever 16 and the holder arm 17. At this time, the ratio of (a) to (b) (a/b) is set so as to become equal to the ratio of a distance L between the bogie centers to a distance l between the wheel shafts (L/l).

摘要： PURPOSE:To achieve efficient operation of a train maintaining riding comfort of passengers by substituting a detection data into a formula for determining a relationship of a train speed, a train acceleration, an angular speed of a box body, an angle of inclination of a roadway and a displacement value of the box body to calculate a cant value of the rail road. CONSTITUTION:A detecting section 10 detects a speed V of a train running on a railroad as indicated by 30 while detecting accelerations alphaX-alphaZ as indicated by X30-Z30 in the directions of the respective axes of X, Y and Z (X-Z) orthogonal to one another fixed on the train. Moreover, the detecting section detects angular velocity omegaX-omegaZ about the axes and a vertical displacement as indicated by 32X-32Z and 34 at parts of box bodies of the train. Then, an arithmetic device 20 inputs detection data from the detecting section 10 and calculates a cant value nd a radius R of curvature represented by an angle phi of inclination of a line controlling an arithmetic program stored in an ROM memory 26 with a CPU 24 to be outputted to an external display or the like or to be stored into an RAM memory 28 temporarily.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both stable traveling and wheel set self steering by forming a throat side to have a small curvature radius and a neutral position side to have a large curvature radius between the throat and the neutral position and a composite circular-arc part adjacent to the circular-arc of the throat in a wheel tread shape of a wheel. SOLUTION: In the step surface shape of a wheel, a throat side is formed to have a small curvature radius and a neutral position side is formed to have a large curvature radius between a throat and a neutral position, and a composite circular-arc part having two curvature radiuses and smoothly connected is formed adjacent to the circular-arc of the throat. Following the composite circular-arc part, a reverse circular-arc part having a large curvature radius and a linear part contacted therewith are formed. Specifically, between the throat and the neutral position, the composite circular-arc part is formed by smooth connection of curves of curvature radiuses of 800mm, 350mm, 100mm and 80mm from the neutral position side, and following the composite circular- arc part, the reverse circular-arc part having a curvature radius of 500mm and the linear part contacted therewith and having a slope of 1/20 are formed so as to form a wheel tread.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the transverse pressure and to reduce the wear of wheels and rails by supprting each axle so that the longitudinal supporting rigidity relative to a forward axle and a rear axle of each vehicle is soft compared with the longitudinal supporting rigidity relative to other axles between the axles when a vehicle passes at least a curved part. SOLUTION: A steerable truck in a train is connected to a vehicle body by a pneumatic spring, and an axle box body to support each axle is connected to a truck frame 17 through an axle box supporting device 20 so as to be self- steerable. The axle box supporting device 20 consists of a conical rubber 30 and a steering device 40, and the steering device 40 and the conical rubber 30 are rigidly connected to each other to increase the longitudinal supporting rigidity by evacuating a pneumatic cylinder 41 of the steering device 40 to rise a piston 42. When the vehicle passes a curved part, the supporting rigidity of the steerable truck is changed so that the longitudinal rigidity relative to the forward and rear axles of each vehicle is soft compared with the longitudinal supporting rigidity relative to other axles between the axles.

Further, a height adjusting valve 99 installed on the interposed member 52 and the pnematic spring 3 are connected through the first connection flow passage, and a boggy frame 4 and the height adjusting valve 99 are connected through a height adjusting rod 102. Further, a damper 140 which permits the communication between a compressed air feeding passage and the second connection flow passage which is connected to the height adjusting valve 99 and is installed on the interposed member 52 when the car body 1 is placed on the upper surtace 52a, and similarly permits the communication between brake mechanisms 28 and 29 and the compressed air feeding flow passage and connects the interposed member 52 and the boggy frame 4 is provided.

The solenoid valves 9, 10 are switched by a forward and backward switching relay 11. Supporting rigidity of the front shaft side and the rear shaft side are separately controlled. Consequently, a steering device is operated effectively by a simple control equipment in response to the condition of a track.
