      SOLUTION: The closure 18 for optical cable connection has a casing 21, and in the module storage part 22 of the chassis 21, a plurality of connection modules 23 are arranged (stored) along a width direction in a state that they are erected to the bottom surface of a closure main body 19. Each connection module 23 has a rectangular parallelepiped board-like module main body 27 and a plurality of MT connectors 28, 29 are attached to one end surface of the module main body 27 at its upper part and its lower part, respectively. In the module main body 27, an optical connection part 30 which connects the respective MT connectors 28, 29 to each other is arranged. The module storage part 22 stores other kinds of connection modules whose connection forms (functions) are different from that of the connection module 23.
