    • PURPOSE:To connect steel-shell concrete segments by a method in which projected bars are provided on the ground side and inside and intermediate of the tunnel for the side plates of a steel-shell concrete sigment, a water stopper is put into the groove between the projected bars, and mortar is also packed into the space formed by the side plates and the intermediate projected bar. CONSTITUTION:A water stopper 8 is fitted into the groove between the ground side projected bar 4 and the first intermediate projected bar 6 and also into the groove between the tunnel inner wall projected bar 5 and the second intermediate projected bar 7. The stopper 8 is projected from the tops of both-side projected bars. The projected bars 4 in the steel shell 2 of each steel-shell concretes 1 to be connected, the unnel inside projected bar 5, and the first and second intermediate projected bars 6 and 7 are connected at their tops by welding. Mortar 9 is packed into the space formed by the side plates 3 of each steel shell 2 and the first and second intermediate projected bars 6 and 7 to connect the steel shells 2. Water-stop property can thus be kept and couplers can be easily connected.

    • PURPOSE:To provide reinforcing bars for a reinforced concrete structure, a reinforcing bar cage, and a reinforced concrete structure wherein structure is simplified, manufacture is facilitated, workability of erection of reinforcing bars, and economical efficiency and a reinforcing effect are excellent. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing bar 1 comprises a columnar steel 2 to perform a role of a main reinforcing bar in a vertical direction, and a loop-form stirrup material 3 with which the columnar steel 2 is surrounded and which crosses the axis of the columnar steel 2. An H-steel having through-holes 4 serving to reduce weight and be formed integrally with concrete 5 is used as the columnar steel 2. A bent loop bar-form reinforcing bar is used as the loop-form stirrup material 3. A number of the reinforcing bars 1 are arranged in juxtaposition such that the loop-form stirrup materials 3 of the adjoining reinforcing bars 1 are overlapped with each other by a given amount. The columnar steel 6 is inserted in the overlapped part to form a reinforcing bar cage. By installing forms 25 and placing the concrete 5, a bridge pier A of reinforced concrete structure where the reinforcing bars 1 are arranged is completed.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the cost and to improve the working efficiency by a method wherein the approximate half length of a reinforcing inner sheath pipe is securely inserted in advance into the bore of the tip of an upper steel pipe pile and a gap between a lower steel pipe and the reinforcing inner sheath pipe is filled with a filling curing material through a filling curing material injection pipe. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing inner sheath pipe 18 is inserted in the bore of an upper steel pipe pile 1, and the tip of a filling curing material injection pipe 30 is inserted in a hole 31 formed in the end part of the reinforcing inner sheath pipe 18. The upper steel pipe pile 1 is inserted in and joined with a lower steel pipe pile 2, already driven in a vertical shaft 36 excavated in a land-slide suppressing spot 35, by using a crane vehicle 37. A through-hole 39 is formed in the slightly upper part of a faucet joint 1a of the upper steel pipe pile 1, and a through-hole 40 is also formed in the reinforcing inner sheath pipe 18. A filling curing material injection pipe 41 is inserted through the through-holes 39 and 40 from the outside of the upper steel pipe pile 1 toward the bore of the reinforcing inner sheath pipe 18, and engaged with a through-hole 42 from the inside toward the outside of the reinforcing inner sheath pipe 18. The upper steel pipe pile 1 is lifted down from above and inserted internally of the lower steel pipe pile 2 to complete joint engagement of faucet joints 1a and 2a.

    • PURPOSE:To make a construction with high reliability and advantageous economic efficiency by making friction coupling of steel segments consisting of a skin plate and grillage ribs through splices and constructing a circular segment wall to the peripheral surface of a cylindrical excavation hole to fill concrete. CONSTITUTION:Grillage ribs 5 constituted of horizontal ribs 3 to be curved so as to adhere to the circumferential surface 2a of a skin plate 2 to be curved on the basis of a set curvature and vertical ribs 4 having sides adhered to the circumferential surface 2a as well are welded. Friction coupling joints 9 provided with bolt connecting through-holes 6 are to the ends of the horizontal ribs 3 and vertical ribs 4, and a gap blocking skirt metal fittings 10 is welded to the outside 2b of the skin plate 2. In addition, adjacent steel segments 1 are such that the friction coupling joints 9a and 9b of the vertical ribs 4 to be hung on the grillage ribs 5 and 5 coming into contact with each other are rubbed and coupled by friction coupling high strength bolts 13a and 13b through slices 12a and 12b. According to the constitution, they are excellent in strength, so that the breakdown caused by big bending or shearing force can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacturing cost of a segment and reduce the excavation sectional surface in the shield excavation, by firmly connecting segments so that the bending strength and bending rigidity increase and by reducing the weight of the segment. At the rear end part of the other segment 3, a groove-shaped metal fitting 5 which projects toward the rear end part of one segment 2 is fixed. At the front end part of the other segment 3, a shaft metal fitting 6 arranged in the groove-shaped metal fitting 4 is fixed, and the part between the groove-shaped metal fitting 4 and the shaft metal fitting 6 is charged with the material 10 which hardens through the lapse of time, and the part between the groove-shaped metal fitting 5 and a shaft metal fitting 7 is charged with the material 10 which hardens through the lapse of time.
