    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe sheet pile joint and a joint structure of a steel pipe sheet pile which ensure the positioning accuracy of the steel pipe sheet pile, which have proper workability associated with excavation and washing of sediment in a joint part, and mortar filling, which surely enhance joint shearing strength in a pipe axis direction and which can resist an axial force in a cross section, , and a steel pipe sheet pile foundation.
      SOLUTION: The steel pipe sheet pile joints are connected together by a female joint 13 and a male joint 17. In the female joint 13, a pair of L-shaped steel materials 10 is provided at a predetermined interval in the axial direction of an outer shape of a steel-pipe-sheet-pile main pipe 3; an arm part 11 of each L-shaped steel material 10 is arranged inward; and a leg part 12 of each L-shaped steel material 10 is fixed. In the male joint 17, a pair of L-shaped steel materials 14 is provided at a predetermined interval in the axial direction of the outer shape of the steel-pipe-sheet-pile main pipe 3; an arm part 15 of each L-shaped steel material 14 is arranged outward; and a leg part 16 of each L-shaped steel material 14 is fixed. A plurality of rod-like steel materials with protrusions are arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the main pipe, which is sandwiched between each L-shaped steel materials of the female joint and that of the male joint, at intervals at least three times longer than a diameter of the rod-like steel material with the protrusion in the direction of the outer periphery of the steel pipe.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce such defective welding as slag inclusion, undercut, etc., and to obtain the high welded quality in good repeatability by controlling the pull-up movement of a bar steel at the time of generating an arc, the position of the bar steel during the arc holding and the pushing movement of the bar steel at the time of pressing the bar steel. SOLUTION: An inserting body 11 for generating the arc is interposed between the bar steel 9 and a steel plate 10. The welding part is surrounded with powdery and granular flux 12. The welding current is supplied between the bar steel 9 and the steel plate 10 to generate the arc. A command of an arc start detector 5 is received to pull up the bar steel 9. The end surface of the bar steel 9 and the steel plate 10 are melted, and after holding the arc for specific time, the bar steel 9 is pushed down at a comparatively high speed. At the moment of bringing the molten metal on the steel plate 10 into contact with the molten metal at the end part of the bar steel 9, the welding voltage is lowered and a short circuit detected signal is outputted. The pushing speed of the bar steel 9 is changed into a comparatively low speed based on the short circuit signal to push down a prescribed amount. The welding current is stopped and the unmelted powdery and granular flux 12 and solid slag are removed.
