    • PURPOSE:To contrive not to need a signal level converter for an interface, by making the setting device of a field current constant control system follow field current determined by a terminal voltage constant control system. CONSTITUTION:An AVR system is constituted of an arithmetic operation amplifier 3 for operating arithmetically a deviation between a terminal voltage setting value applied by a setting device 2 and the feedback value of the terminal voltage of a generator 1 detected by a PT4. An AER system as the back-up of the AVR system is organized with an arithmetic operation amplifier 9 for performing arithmetic a deviation between a field current setting value applied by a setting device 7 and field current detected by a CT8. When the AVR system is used, then the feedback value of the field current detected by the CT8 is set to be target value, and the setting device 7 is moved by a motor driving gear 11 so that a deviation between the target value and the set value of the field current applied by the setting device 7 may be made small, and the field current setting value is followed.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an exciter in which a thyristor is not damaged even if a field breaker is mounted at an AC side by providing a bypass circuit in a field circuit. CONSTITUTION:A bypass pair is formed in a rectifying thyristor by a controller of an exciter at stopping time after an operation at normal time to trip a field breaker 41. If an exciting power source is failed due to the defect of a control circuit, the interruption of a main circuit thyristor or the output short circuit of a generator and a synchronizing signal is not input, and a heavy defect signal is input to the exciter. A gate circuit 9 is operated by the heavy failure signal to turn ON a thyristor switch 8, a closed loop is formed of a discharging resistor 7 and a field coil 3 to set an AC side field current to zero. An AC filed breaker 6 is opened in this state.

    • PURPOSE: To eliminate the extenal noise when the analog signals are integrated and thus to reduce the error by varying the oscillation frequency which determines the sampling and integrating cycles.
      CONSTITUTION: The internal control signals are produced by using external AC input 6 (such as commerical frequency) given from the subject system as the fundamental frequency. The zero point of input 6 is detected through zero-point detection circuit 10 to deliver basic clock 23. Receiving this output, divider circuit delivers division signal 13 which is necessary for the internal operation. Control circuit 18 performs the counting action for signal 13 and delivers a series of control signal 8 to control the integrating action, writing into register 4 and others. In this way, both the sampling and integrating cycles can be varied in accordance with the frequency variation of the subject system. Thus, the external noise can be eliminated, reducing the error caused by the noise.
