    • PURPOSE: To measure bending on-line in a tube-creating process by supporting a part with an arbitrary length of a material to be measured in cantilever shape, measuring the distance in first direction for crossing a reference line and the distance in second direction for crossing the first direction and the reference line from the reference line to a section center, and compensating deflection due to dead weight. CONSTITUTION: A tube 2 to be measured is retained in Z direction so that it can travel freely by a pair of pinch rollers 1x opposing X direction and pinch rollers 1y opposing Y direction and the pipe 2 is delivered. Then, the center line of the tube 2 when the tube 2 is extended properly in a straight line and there is no deflection due to dead weight is set to a reference line 2sCL and a point Cs of a distance Dsz from a pinch roller 1y on the reference line 2sCL is determined as an observation point. Then, an amount of position deviation αx in X direction and an amount of position deviation αy at the observation point Cs are picked up by CCD cameras 3x and 3y for detection. Then, when a load cell 5Ls detects the blocking of the tube 2, the picked-up image is processed 4a and the compensation of the deflection due to dead weight is compensated, thus outputting the bending of the tube 2.

    • PURPOSE:To effectively heat a steel strip in a short time by arranging a burner having plural tip nozzles in the width direction of the steel strip toward joint parts of the steel strip, and making this burner movable in the width direction and the advancing direction of the steel strip. CONSTITUTION:Joint parts joined with a steel strip 1 are heated in the processes continuously joining the steel strip 1. A burner having plural tip nozzles 3 in the width direction of the steel strip 1 is arranged toward the joint parts of the steel strip 1, and this burner is made movable in the width direction and the advancing direction of the steel strip 1. Further, the temperature of the steel strip 1 is measured from the opposite side of this heating device, at the time point to reach at a prescribed temperature, the heating is finished. Therefore, it can be effectively heated in a short time, further because the burner is reciprocated in the width direction of the steel strip 1, the heating irregularity is not generated, problems of the stop of tube production caused on the increase of heating time and the crack of the joint part caused by the heating irregularity can be solved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a steel pipe to be cut by pushing without damaging a disc cutter by providing a cutter holder and a disc cutter with pivotal function in the traveling direction of a steel pipe to be cut with respect to lateral load in replacing and cutting a steel pipe to be cut. SOLUTION: A buffer material 19 such as a spring or the like is disposed in a connecting portion between a cutter holder 13 suspending part to a disc 16 and the disc 16 through a spacer 17, or in a space up to a frame. Even if a lateral load caused by a mismatch between the traveling speed of a steel pipe to be cut and the traveling speed of a travel type steel pipe cutter is applied, the cutter holder 13 is pivoted on a pin connecting part because the disc cutter 14 is not fixed to the cutter holder 13, and the pivotal distance, normally about 2-5 mm can be absorbed by the buffer material 19 such as a spring or the like. Accordingly, the steel pipe to be cut can be cut by pushing without an obstacle.
