    • PURPOSE:To to perform accurate measurement and, at the same time, to minimize the power consumption of the module by intermittently driving a signal processing circuit. CONSTITUTION:In an intermittent drive control circuit 23, the (+) and (-) output terminals of a DC power source are connected to the (+) and (-) input terminals of a signal processing circuit 22 through wires 23a and 23b and a timer relay 25 is connected between the wires 23a and 23b. When a voltage is applied across the circuit 23 from an external power source connected to a power supply terminal 13, the relay 25 in the circuit 23 performs opening and closing operations on a contact 25a in a certain cycle. The power supply to the circuit 22 is intermittently performed following the cycle set by means of the circuit 23. Therefore, the circuit 22 drives a composite thin film sensor 21, processes the information detected by the sensor 21, and outputs the processed results through a terminal 14 only when the power supply is made to the circuit 22. Since the sensor 21 is intermittently operated in such a way, the temperature rise of the whole sensor 21 becomes smaller even when the sensor 21 generates heat at the measuring time. Therefore, mutual interference between thin film sensors can be prevented and accurate measurement can be performed. In addition, since the sensor is intermittently operated, the power consumption of this module can be minimized.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance a cooling effect and to make the crystallinity in a recrystallized area excellent by executing laser melting while making a refrigerant such as polyethylene glycol flow between a silicon dioxide protection film and an optical glass plate. CONSTITUTION:A silicon dioxide thin film 22 is formed to have a film thickness of 900nm on the surface of a silicon substrate 21 by thermally oxidizing the substrate and a semiconductor thin film 23 of a silicon polycrystalline thin film to be recrystallized is formed to have a film thickness of 500nm thereon by an LPCVD method. Next, a silicon dioxide protection film 24 is provided in a film thickness of 200nm further thereon, and a product thus obtained is used. A refrigerant 25 such as polyethylene glycol is flowed at a prescribed temperature and in a prescribed flow rate between the film 24 and an optical glass plate 26 and a laser light is applied to the film 23 through this plate 26, the refrigerant 25 and the film 24. According to this constitution, the surface of the film 23 is always cooled down to a prescribed temperature, a temperature distribution inside a molten area is made uniform and the unstableness of crystal growth in a recrystallization process is held down. Consequently a grain size becomes large, the boundary with unmolten area becomes distinct and the cost of manufacture can be reduced.

A PTC thermister 22 having a high positive temperature coefficient around room temperature is fitted on the front side of the insulating board 14 in the hermetic case 20 and under the crystal vibrator 10. When the temperature in the case 20 rises, the resistance is increased by the thermister 22, the generated heat of the thermister 22 is reduced and when heat radiation from the case 20 is exceeded, the temperature is decreased, Conversely, when the temperature decreases, the generated heat is increased. Thus, the frequency is kept constant regardless of the change in an external temperature.

CONSTITUTION:Temperature and humidity are operated based on the output values of temperature and humidity sensors 1 and 2 and table values in a ROM 9 and stored in a RAM 11.
