    • PURPOSE:To provide a monitor function and to switch optical paths without moving an optical path switching part by utilizing the polarizing and separating operation of polarizing prisms, photodetecting a half of input light by a light receiving element and outputting the remaining half as output light directly. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd polarizing prisms 16a and 16b are arranged their polarizing films opposite each other, and the 1st polarizing prism 16a is used for photodetection and the 2nd polarizing prism 16b is used for optical transmission. The polarizing and separating operation of the polarizing prism 16 utilizes the difference in reflection coefficient between P polarized light and S polarized light at a Brewster angle. A half of the input light is therefore inputted to the light receiving element at all times and the remaining half becomes the output light, and when an LD is used as the light emitting element, the majority of the sent light becomes the output light at the time of optical transmission, but when an LED is used, the half of the sent light becomes the output light and a movable part functions only to cut of the light signal. Consequently, the monitoring function is provided, the optical axes of a movable block and a receptacle which switch optical axes are easily adjusted, and the cost is reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce an insensitive range due to friction by making the controlling force of an actuator actuating a moving mass to be a sum of a controlling force proportionate to the vibratory speed of a vibratory body and a controlling force equivalent to the frictional force of a movable mass. CONSTITUTION:When a vibratory body 1 is excited by an external force, the vibratory speed of the vibratory body 1 as sensed by an accelerometer 7 is sent to an actuator 3 through an integrator 8a, a totalizer 8d and a power amplifier 8e. The relative speed between the vibratory body 1 and a movable mass 4 is detected by a relative speedometer 9 and is added to the vibratory speed of the vibratory body 1 by the totalizer 8d after going through a polarimeter 8b and a vibration generator 8c. Since the output by the voltage generator 8c causes the actuator 3 to generate a force negating the frictional force, an insensitive range due to the frictional force is solved.

    • PURPOSE:To control forcibly the vibration of a vibrating body, by providing a detector for the vibration generated in the vibrating body such as a high level road and transmitting a rotation force corresponding to a controlling force to end parts of a beam part by motors provided in leg parts of the vibrating body. CONSTITUTION:The high level road has a pier 1, which consists of a beam part 2 and leg parts 3, fixed to bases buried deeply in the ground, and the pier 1 supports a bridge on the beam part 2 through a main girder. The pier 1 is fixed to bases 6, and motors 7 are fixed on bases 6 in leg parts 3. A driving sprocket is fixed to the rotation shaft of the motor 7, and power is transmitted to a sprocket 10 to be driven through a chain 9. The shaft is fitted fast to the sprocket and is fitted loosely to a bearing fixed to the inside face on each side of the beam part 2. A lever provided as one body together with the shaft extends between projections provided on the inside face of the beam part 2. An accelerometer 16 provided in the beam part 2 detects the acceleration of the vibration, and a controlling force is given to motors 7 through a filter 17, a controller 18, and a power amplifier 19 to give a vertical damping force to the beam part 2.

The output shaft of an oil pressure actuator 10 is connected to a cylinder mechanism 21 consisting of a cylinder 17 and a piston 18, and further, the output shaft of the actuator 10 is connected to a tendon 9 by driving of a cylinder mechanism 22 consisting of a cylinder 19 and a piston 20. A sensor 11 attached to the center of the beam 6 detects the oscillation quantity to drive the actuator 10 through a filter 12, a controller 13, and an oil pressure driving device 14. The force is doubled in this manner to give the force, which acts against the displacement and the speed of the vibration, to the beam 6, thus controlling the vibration.

    • PURPOSE:To use effectively the space under a pier to control the vibration, by providing actuators on supporting members connecting the center position of the beam part and bases to give a controlling force corresponding to the vibration, which is generated in vibrating body such as a high level road, in parallel with leg parts. CONSTITUTION:A pier 1 is fixed onto bases, which are buried deeply in the ground, and consists of a beam part 3 and leg parts 4. A supporting frame 9 supports the beam part 3 in the approximate center of the beam part 3 and has beams 10, which extend obliquely toward leg parts 4 from the supporting point, and vertical supporting legs, which have one ends fixed onto bases 2 and the other ends connected to beams 10, and is provided with actuators 12 in middle points of legs 11. The actuator 12 consists of, for example, a motor and is a mechanism to move vertically the frame 9. The acceleration of the vibration is detected by a sensor 13 provided in the beam part 3 to give a controlling force corresponding to the velocity of the vibration to actuators 12 through a filter 14, a controller 15, and a power amplifier 16. Thus, the space under the pier is used effectively to perform the vibration control effectively.
