    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion detector capable of accurately detecting a combustion state even if dispersion peculiar to a circuit exists in a power supply voltage detecting circuit in detecting the combustion state by a flame current. SOLUTION: The combustion detector comprises a flame rod 7 provided to be inserted in a combustion flame; a power circuit 1 applying alternating voltage to the flame rod; a flame current detecting circuit 3 detecting the flame current flowing to the flame rod; the power supply voltage detecting circuit 4 detecting the alternating voltage of the power circuit; and an arithmetic means 5 obtaining the output of the power supply voltage detecting circuit and flame current detecting circuit to compute a first correction quantity to the fluctuation of power supply voltage and to add the first correction quantity to the flame current. A second correction quantity of the flame current corresponding to a circuit constant peculiar to the power supply voltage detecting circuit is preset to the arithmetic means.     • PURPOSE:To utilize a motor easy to design and make a drive section compact by obtaining a control force applied between a movable mass and a high-rise building via the torque of a pinion rack mechanism in the rotation direction. CONSTITUTION:When a high-rise building 2 tends to vibrate in the X direction, a vibration sensor 6 detects the signals and sends a vibration acceleration signal to a control unit 8. The control unit 8 feeds the current to a motor, and the motor generates the torque T in response to the vibration speed and is rotated. The generated torque T is converted into a control force U and is applied between a movable mass 3 and the fitting base of the motor to dampen vibrations of the high-rise building 2. Accordingly, the control force U applied between the movable mass 3 and the high-rise building 2 is obtained via the torque T of a pinion rack mechanism in the rotation direction, thus a motor easy to design can be utilized, and drive section can be constituted compactly.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the damping effect of a beam and also to attain stable control by allowing an actuator to generate a control force proportional to a connecting rod speed to provide a prescribed damping to a vibrator. CONSTITUTION:The speed of the connecting rod 9 delivering a control force is detected by a tachogenerator 10 and the control force proportional to the speed of the rod 9 is generated by the actuator 7. The control force Fc generated by the actuator 7 is a force -c2x2 proportional to the vibrating speed x2. In this case, the damping C'1 given to the beam is expressed in the equation, where S is Laplace operator, M2 is a mass of the connecting rod, K2 is a spring constant of connecting rod, C20 is the damping factor of the connecting rod itself and C2 is a gain constant. The damping C'1 given to the beam according to the equation is expressed as C'1=C20+C2 in the frequency range lower than the resonance frequency of the rod 9 and the damping is given to the beam by the control force proportional to the speed x2.

A sensor 11 attached to the center of the beam 6 detects the oscillation quantity to drive the actuator 10 through a filter 12, a controller 13, and an oil pressure driving device 14. The force is doubled in this manner to give the force, which acts against the displacement and the speed of the vibration, to the beam 6, thus controlling the vibration.

The actuator 12 consists of, for example, a motor and is a mechanism to move vertically the frame 9. The acceleration of the vibration is detected by a sensor 13 provided in the beam part 3 to give a controlling force corresponding to the velocity of the vibration to actuators 12 through a filter 14, a controller 15, and a power amplifier 16. Thus, the space under the pier is used effectively to perform the vibration control effectively.
