    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image input/output device by which a person who desires purchase of clothes, etc., can easily recognize a coordinate image without wearing the clothes. SOLUTION: A first piece of clothes image data regarding the clothes is stored in an image memory 9 by preliminarily performing photography, etc., of the clothes. When clothes which a user desires to purchase exist at a store, etc., of the clothes, a second piece of clothes image data is generated by photographing the clothes. Fitting image data is generated by performing a synthetic processing between the first and second pieces of clothes image data according to a wearing part of the first piece of clothes image data on a human body and a wearing part of the second piece of clothes image data on the human body in a data processing part 20 and a result of the synthetic processing is displayed on a display part 4.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for a digital image input device that can easily designate an area for applying prescribed image processing to a photographed image. SOLUTION: When a shutter button 11 is depressed, a CCD 102 outputs an optical image of an object formed by a lens 101 as an image signal, photographing imaged data can be acquired, and the data are fed to an image memory 105 via a signal processing circuit 103 and an image processing section 104, and the image memory 105 stores the photographing image data. Then an entire control section 10 detects a face area from the photographed image and divides the photographed image into a first area including the face area and a second area other than the first area in an identification enabled way. That is, the digital image input device can divides the photographed image into the first area which is a most important area for a photographer and the other area in an identification enabled way. Thus, the digital image input device and program can easily designate a processing object area in the case of executing image processing or the like when the important area is differentiated from the area other than the important area.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the data quantity of three-dimensional shape data without eliminating information on the boundary of colors in an object by providing a read means, a color boundary discrimination means and a shape data correction means for thinning object shape data except for a part corresponding to the boundary of the colors. SOLUTION: Object shape data MX is reduced by using the means for reading object shape data MX showing the three-dimensional shape of the object, a means for reading a two-dimensional color picture GX1 corresponding to object shape data MX, the means for discriminating the boundary of the colors in the color picture GX1 and the data correction means for thinning object shape data MX except for the part corresponding to the boundary of the colors. Namely, a three-dimensional shape data processor executes a processing for reducing the data quantity of object shape data in a prescribed form, which is generated based on measured data, by using two-dimensional picture data. Object shape data and two-dimensional data corresponding to the data are correspondingly stored in a memory.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve counting accuracy for counting the number of passage of traveling objects in a passage.
SOLUTION: In a counting system 101, a monitor line 41 as the target of irradiation is irradiated with a slit beam 31 by a laser 3, and a region 42 including the monitor line 41 is photographed repeatedly in predetermined time cycles by an image pickup device 1 so that an image can be obtained. The positions where the traveling objects are present are acquired as the traveling object information on the basis of the image, and the number is counted as the number of the traveling objects in the passage 4. Whether or not the plurality of pieces of traveling object information is related to the same traveling object is discriminated by comparing a distance between the positions shown by the pieces of plurality of traveling object information with a discrimination threshold so that the duplicated counting of the time-sequentially acquired plurality of pieces of traveling object information related to the same traveling object can be prevented. This discrimination threshold is dynamically set according to the level of the congestion of the traveling objects in the passage. Thus, it is possible to improve the discriminating accuracy of whether or not the plurality of pieces of traveling object information is related to the same traveling object, and to improve the counting accuracy as a result.
