      SOLUTION: When a fingertip or the like approaches or contacts the selection branch Se once, the effect that the selection branch Se is selected is detected by a selection detection sensor 11, and the effect is visually or tactually expressed to an operator once by a selection expressing part 12. When the same selection branch Se is pressed in that state, its effect is detected by a selection operation detection part 13, and the event that the selection branch Se is pressed at that point of time for the first time is confirmed by a confirmation recognition part 14. The operator can confirm the selected selection branch Se before the operation is settled.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible image display medium which can be repeatedly used and can display high-quality images. SOLUTION: The reversible image display medium 13 houses a developer DL in cells 116 between two substrates 111, 112, and the developer DL contains at least two kinds of dry developer particles WP and BP having triboelectrification property and having different electrification polarity from each other and different optical reflection density from each other. An electrostatic latent image is formed on one substrate 111 and the developer particles are driven by the electric field produced by the electrostatic latent image to display an image. The amount of particles having small diameters in the developer is decreased so as to suppress deposition and fixing of particles having small particle diameters on the substrate 111 in the image observation side. The amount of magnetic developer particles having small particle diameters is decreased to control the movement of the developer particles by stirring by a magnetic field. As for developer particles with addition of a third component so as to decrease the gap between substrates of the medium while keeping the image density, the addition and compounding ratio of the third component to the particles having small diameters or the kind of the third component is made different from those of the component for the particles having large diameters.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the central blank of a toner image and to obtain a high-quality image without irregular color by transferring plural toner images developed by a contact developing method using one-component developer under the action of pressing force. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor 3 being an electrostatic latent image carrier is arranged in the center part of a housing 2. A laser optical system 6 radiates a laser beam 7 based on image information inputted from an image data output device so that the outer peripheral surface of the electrostatically charged photoreceptor 3 may be exposed at an exposed area 8, and an electrostatic latent image corresponding to the image information is formed. The elecrostatic latent image is developed by the contact developing method using the one- component developer and plural toner images developed is transferred to a body to be transferred under the action of the pressing force. Namely, the respective toner images of yellow, magenta and the like on the photoreceptor 3 are transferred to a transfer belt 15, and when the transfer of the final black toner image is finished, a secondary transfer roller 21 is allowed to press-contact with the belt 15 by impressing secondary transfer bias. Then, the toner image on the belt 15 is transferred to paper fed from a paper feeding device 30.
