    • PURPOSE:To enhance the management of excavation by providing a density and moisture measuring unit for dug earth, to an excavator, and by providing a density and moisture measuring unit for discharged earth and a unit for measuring a flow rate of discharged earth, to an earth discharging pipe in an earth discharging device in order to make the digging volume of earth equal to the discharge volume thereof. CONSTITUTION:A density and moisture measuring unit 31a using radio-isotope is provided to a spoke 9 in an excavator 3 so as to detect the density and moisture ratio of dug earth from the ground, from which a particle weight WS1 of the dug earth is calculated. Further, a density and moisture measuring unit 31c is provided in an earth discharging pipe 17 in an earth discharging device 8 so as to detect the density and moisture of discharged earth, from which a particle weight WS2 of the discharge earth is calculated. Then, measurement is made additionally by an additive flow meter so as to calculate a particle weight WB of additive. Thus, the rotational speed of the earth discharging device 8 and the advancing speed of a shield jack are suitably adjusted so as to satisfy WS2 = WB + WS1. Thereby it is possible to optimally manage the volume of discharged earth.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the solidification of the excavated soil by providing a partition and a facing chamber in front of a shield outer tube furnishing a specific circular section, positioning an arm for revolution in the facing chamber, and providing a driving device for a cutting group for cutting work in the arm for revolution. CONSTITUTION:A solar cutter 3 is rotated by a driving source 27, and planetary cutters 4a and 4b are rotated by a driving source 38 from solar sprockets 31a and 31b to planetary sprockets 30a and 31b through chains 33 and 34. Then, the whole body of a cutter group 2 is rotated by a driving source 26 provided at the center of each circle respectively. Then, the earth and sand of the excavated facing enters a facing chamber 6, a mud forming agent is poured, and they are stirred by stirring blades 11a 11b, 18, and 21, and an arm 15, converting into a mud with a fluidity and an impermeability. And it is exhausted by an earth-moving device 39 while keeping a balance of the pressure of the mud and the earth pressure of the facing. In such a way, the solidification can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To construct variously shaped tunnels by disposing a plurality of excavating tools rotated by parallel link mechanisms on multiple connected sections having optional forms in such a manner that they are not collided to each other, and drilling a working face by these tools to excavate in the ground. CONSTITUTION:A hood 3 is formed in the front of a shield cylinder 2 having a cocoon sectional form, and the front is partitioned by a bulkhead 4. This is disposed by fours, and a support shaft 8 is passed in the position displaced from the center of a short cylindrical rotating body 5 rotatably supported by a bearing 6. An adding material injection hole 11 is bored in the inner part thereof and connected to one end of an injection pipe 13, and the other end is connected to a swivel joint 14. Two excavating tools 20 are synchronously controlled so that they can be synchronously operated as an identical plane, and a plurality of rotating bodies 5 are also synchronously controlled and synchronously operated to transmit the motion to the excavating tools 20. Hence, multiple connected tunnels of every form can be constructed.
