    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a road having a width expanded part in a shield tunnel, without impairing stability of the outer peripheral ground, by restraining high pressure water injected into the outer peripheral ground for excavating the outer peripheral ground of the shield tunnel from acting on the outer peripheral ground over a wide range.
      SOLUTION: This construction method of the shield tunnel inside road having the width expanded part constructs the shield tunnel by using a plurality of width expanding segments arranged in a side wall part of the shield tunnel, a clearance forming means and a seal means arranged between the width expanding segments and a segment adjacent to the segments. A sheet pipe is inserted into clearance generated by removing the clearance forming means, and the sheet pile is pushed out to the outer peripheral ground of the shield tunnel, and while excavating the outer peripheral ground between the sheet piles by an excavating means via the width expanding segments, the width expanding segments are pushed out to the outer peripheral ground of the shield tunnel, and afterwards, the road having the width expanded part is constructed in the shield tunnel.
