      SOLUTION: An earth retaining box body 2 forms an outer shell of at least one tunnel when adjacently constructing a plurality of tunnels 1, etc. in the ground, and has a plate-like earth retaining plate 3 formed in a width extended between the tunnels and a hinge 4 rotatably supporting one side in the width direction of the earth retaining plate 3 in the outer shell of the first tunnel 1A. The earth retaining plate 3 is arranged on the first tunnel 1A side provided with the hinge 4 before constructing the adjacent second tunnel 1B, and is extended between the tunnels 1A and 1B by rotating around a shaft part 41 after constructing the adjacent second tunnel 1B.

      SOLUTION: An interposition pipe-jacking machine 1 is composed of an external cylinder 2, an internal cylinder 3, in which a part can be slid in the external cylinder 2, an interposition jack 4 in the external cylinder 2 and a reaction-receiving cylindrical body 5 being mounted in the internal cylinder 3 and transmitting a reaction by an jack 4 to the split caisson bodies 8 at rears. The interposition pipe-jacking machine 1 is further composed of a rectangular or square-shaped outercoat 6 mounted on the outer periphery of the external cylinder 2. In the interposition pipe-jacking machine 1, a sealant 7 is arranged in an opening between the external cylinder 2 and the internal cylinder 3, a groove 61 extended in the tunnel extending-direction is formed to the outer peripheral surface of the outercoat 6 and the external shapes of the external cylinder 2 and the internal cylinder 3 are molded in similar figures respectively in a rectangle, in which a circular or corner section is curvature-molded, or a square, in which the corner section is curvature-molded.
