摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent loosening of a steel strip by cutting the steel strip after the coil winding tension is specified immediately before cutting the steel strip. SOLUTION: When a steel strip 1 is cut immediately before a winding machine 6 and wound in a coil by a winding machine 6 provided on the outlet side of an equipment 3 to continuously treat the steel strip 1, the coil winding tension is set to 0.3-0.7Kgf/mm immediately before the steel strip 1 is cut, and then, the steel strip 1 is cut. That means, the steel strip 1 is cut after the winding tension is reduced in the range of 0.3-0.7Kgf/mm immediately before the cutting. The torque fluctuation of the winding machine 6 is small immediately after the cutting, and the inertia in the rotational direction is reduced to prevent the loosening. When the winding tension is below 0.3Kgf/mm , the tension is not applied to the steel strip 1 as the effective force due to the mechanical loss such as friction, troubles such as loosening of the steel strip 1 are caused. If the tension exceeds 0.7Kgf/mm loosening is caused.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of defect on the surface of a steel strip after skin pass rolling and to stably manufacture a product of good quality by applying the water solution of an organic acid on work rolls for skin pass rolling and grinding the rolls with brushes. CONSTITUTION:Polishers 4 such as the brushes over the entire width of roll are pressed against the upper and lower work rolls 1 and the 0.01-1% water solution of the organic acid which is fed from a spray pump 3 is uniformly sprayed on the polishers 4 with spraying nozzles 2. Wipers 5 are pressed against the opposite sides of the work rolls 1 to the polishers 4 and, just before the rolls are brought into contact with a steel strip S, the surfaces of the work rolls 1 are wiped. The spray of the water solution of the organic acid is transmitted onto back-up rolls 7, so the wipers 5 are arranged. In this way, the concentration which is deposited in the vicinity of the roll surface is removed and the surface of the steel strip is prevented from generating defect such as an irregular pattern.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the discoloration of a steel strip, at the time of stopping the line of a steel strip by stopping cleaning spray water, sucking and exhausting water content in an atmosphere and thereafter drying it by dry compressed air. CONSTITUTION:In a cold rolling line, the stop of the line is executed for 2 to 5min on the line inlet side at the time of welding with the preceding coil, and it is executed for 3 to 5min on the line outlet side at the time of switching a tension reel with the preceding coil. At this handling time, the generation of rust on the surface subjected to alkali electrolytic cleaning is prevented. When the reduction of the speed is started because of the stop of the line, spraying is stopped, exhaust and suction are started and the jetting of dry air is started. In this way, its state is formed into a dry one by a series of operation of the stop of the spraying before the stop of the line, the exaust of steam and the jetting of dry air, by which the discoloration of a steel strip caused by the generation of rust can be prevented, and thus, the cutoff of the steel strip caused by discoloration can be prevented.

At the same time, the instruction to hang out is output to the small coil payment exclusive transferring machine 15. And the small coil payment exclusive transferring machine 15 transfers the small coil till the scrap bag 8 and pays the coil out.

A notch is cut at the plate width irregular part ending point 23 and then the set width of the side trimmer 15 as well as the line speed is restored.
