    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacture of a steel sheet excellent in color tone of sheet surface by removing concentrated substances from the surface of a steel strip before temper rolling while inhibiting the formation of concentrated substances at the time of annealing. SOLUTION: Before annealing, a steel sheet is immersed in a sulfuric acid solution of pH2-3 in an acid pickling tank 4 and pickled, by which smudges adhering to the surface of the steel sheet, particularly, smudges infiltrated into fine recessed parts are removed. Further, after annealing, the steel sheet is immersed without delay in an aqueous solution in a water cooling tank 7 and cooled. Acid pickling is performed simultaneously with cooling, and the concentrated substances formed on the surface of the steel sheet during annealing can be completely removed because sulfuric acid is added to the aqueous solution in the water cooling tank 7. After water washing in a water washing tank 8, the steel sheet is continuously fed to a temper rolling mill 9, and, after temper rolling, the steel sheet is wound on a tension reel 10 and formed into product.

    • PURPOSE:To quickly control temp. of a steel strip to the aimed value by adjusting air ratio in an alloying furnace corresponding to variation of the product of thickness in the steel sheet by line speed beforehand obtd. at the time of alloying zinc plating by heating the galvanized steel sheet in the alloying furnace. CONSTITUTION:The cold-rolled steel sheet 3 already annealed, is dipped into a galvanizing vessel 1, and after forming galvanized layer on the surface, this is passed in the alloying furnace 2 providing plural burners 4 and heated and Zn-Fe alloying is executed to the galvanized layer. In this case, relation of variation of the air ratio in the burner 4 corresponding to variation of the product of thickness in the galvanized steel sheet 3 by the line speed in the alloying furnace 2, is beforehand obtd. Based on this, at the time of actually operating, by decreasing or increasing the air ratio in the burner 4 corresponding to variation of the above product value, the temp. of steel strip 1 in the alloying furnace 2 is quickly controlled to the optimum aimed temp. and deterioration of quality in the alloying galvanized steel sheet caused by unsuitable temp. in the steel strip 1, is prevented.
