摘要： PURPOSE:To replate a tin free steel sheet to recover defective one by applying temper-rolling again to an off-grade tin free steel sheet of defective appearance to dissolve appearance defect and then chrome-plating it. CONSTITUTION:Temper-rolling is executed to the tin free steel sheet of off-grade with appearance defect such as scratch or irregular color tone. The steel sheet appearance defect of which is dissolved by this way is chrome-plating. In this case, the steel sheet is more preferably chrome-plated after the destroyed chromium layer of the upper layer is adequately removed in a pretreatment of the plating process than in a state that the steel sheet is chrome-plated while appearance defect of the steel sheet is destroyed and removed by temper-rolling again as it is. As a result, the defective is saved and the good appearance tin free steel sheet excellent in corrosion resistance is obtained.

The coating film thickness of the strip is changed by this operation to cancel the variation of load.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a tin free steel sheet excellent in weldability and corrosion resistance after coating by applying Cr plating treatment twice to the surface of a steel sheet by the use of Cr -containing plating bath while performing anodic treatment between the above Cr plating stages, carrying out initial small current treatment and then cathodic treatment, and forming a Cr oxide film. Subsequently, the above steel sheet is subjected, if necessary, to anodic treatment again and is then subjected to initial small current treatment similarly in a plating bath consisting of a Cr - containing aqueous solution of CrO3, e.g. at 0.1-6A/dm current density and successively to cathodic treatment at ordinary current value, by which a Cr oxide film is formed by 3-30mg/m coating weight on the metallic Cr plating layer. By this method, the tin free steel sheet for welded cans excellent in corrosion resistance after coating as well as in weldability can be produced.

Consequently, sufficient rust resistance can be obtained even if the tin plating amt. is reduced to per one side, and the cost of the tinplate for the DI can is reduced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a steel sheet for cans capable of high speed resistance seam welding and excellent in corrosion resistance by continuously subjecting a sheet metal to nickel plating, to annealing, and to temper rolling and immediately carrying out electrolytic chromic acid treatment at specific electrolytic current density. CONSTITUTION:A sheet metal is continuously subjected to degreasing, nickel plating, and continuous annealing. Successively, temper rolling is applied to the above in a dry state. Then, without pickling, electrolytic chromic acid treatment is immediately performed at 200-600A/dm electrolytic current density. Temper rolling is exerted in a wet state. Nickel plating layer is formed on the steel sheet surface by 10-500mg/m nickel coating weight by means of electroplating, and then, continuous annealing is carried out in a reducing atmosphere containing hydrogen gas at 600-900 deg.C for 10-90sec. Further, metallic chromium and chromium hydrated oxide are formed by 20-150mg/m and 3-20mg/m , respectively. By this method, this steel sheet can contribute to can cost reduction.
