摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain heat generating agent, capable of reducing the pressure resistant strength as well as the weight of a combustor and preventing metal, received in a metallic combustor, from being molten before arriving the peak of combustion, by a method wherein the containing amount of halogenated derivatives of aluminum, perchlorate and alkaline metal is specified. CONSTITUTION:Charge 13 is a composition consisting of 25-60 pts.wt. of aluminum powder, 40-75 pts.wt. of perchlorate, 0.2-5 pts.wt. of halogenated alkaline metal and binder of small amount of rubber and the like while the configuration of the charge 13 is preferably pellet type or block type in order to generate much amount of heat stably. The halogenated derivatives of alkaline metal is employed whereby high pressure, generated upon combustion and reaction, can be reduced and the time of reaction and combustion can be shortened.

摘要： PURPOSE: To enhance reliability in the r.p.m. control of a propeller by controlling the opening of an oxidizing agent control valve and a water control valve based on a detection signal from a turbine operating state detecting means. CONSTITUTION: When hexafluoro sulfur gas is supplied from an oxidizing agent tank 11 and a combustor filled with solid metal fuel (Li) generates heat, a boiler 1 heats up water supplied from a pump 8 to produce steam which drives rotation of a propeller 5 through a turbine 6 and circulates through a condenser 7. Based on the r.p.m. of the turbine detected by a detecting means 14, a controller 12 controls the opening of a water control valve 13 to keep the r.p.m. of the turbine at a specified value. Based on the steam temperature of the turbine 6 detected by a detecting means 15, the controller 12 controls the opening of an oxidizing agent control valve. Consequently, r.p.m. of the propeller of an underwater sailing body can be controlled with high reliability.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent an injection nozzle of 6-sulfur fluoride from clogging by alkaline metal fuel, molten and scattered after igniting preheating agent, by driving a pillar type alkaline metal into the tip end of a tubular fluorine resin ring. CONSTITUTION:When 6-sulfur fluoride is injected from an injection nozzle 4 for the same, the 6-sulfur fluoride collides against the rear end of a pillar type lithium and flows through the holes 6a of a fluorine resin ring 6 while contacting with the side surface and the tip end of the pillar type lithium 10 whereby the pillar type lithium 10 and the fluorine resin ring 6 are molten and lost simultaneously within a short period of time. Thereafter the symetrical injecting combustion of alkaline metal of both sides is effected in a boiler tube. Upon preheating effected by preheating agent prior to the combustion of the alkaline metal in the boiler tube, the injection nozzle 4 of 6-sulfur fluoride is prevented from clogging by the molten and scattered alkaline metal by the pillar type alkaline metal attached to the ring 6.

摘要： PURPOSE:To manufacture a heat-generating agent for starting a metallic combustion apparatus used for a steam generator fitted as a power source in the case when an exothermic reaction is generated by a metal and an oxidizing agent, particularly, the case of an underwater sailing body, etc. CONSTITUTION:A pellet-shaped main agent 3 mainly comprising metallic powder and perchlorate, a pellet-shaped combustion assistant 2, which has the same components as the main agent but is smaller than the main agent, an igniting agent 4 for igniting the combustion assistant and an electric ignition section 5 are made to be contained, and an outer circumferential section is wrapped by a porous material 1, thus forming a heat-generating agent for starting. The main agent 3 is ignited by using the igniting agent 4 composed of metallic powder, a metallic oxide, etc. generating no gas and the ignition ball 5, and the ignition ball 5 is ignited by an igniting wire 6. When using the heat-generating agent for starting, lithium metal (a) in a metallic combustion apparatus completely sealed can be melted and heated instantaneously, and the heat-generating agent (b) can be employed preferably as a power source for an underwater projectile body.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce an increase in inner pressure accompanying an ignition of preheating agent and increase the exciting characteristic by a method wherein an oxidation agent is filled into a spacing part within a combustion device after alkaline metal and preheating agent are filled. CONSTITUTION:An alkaline metallic fuel 2 is filled in a cylindrical form into a main body 1 of a combustion device and then a preheating agent 3 is arranged within the cylindrical body of fuel 2. After filling these materials, oxidation agent gas 4 is filled into a spacing part 1a within the main body 1 of the combustion device. Upon ignition of the preheating agent 3, alkaline metallic fuel 12 forming an oxidate film is preheated by the preheating agent 3 and then melted. In this case, the oxidation agent gas 4 in the spacing 1a reacts with the alkaline metallic fuel 2 and then sucked into the fuel 2. With this reaction, a combustion and heating reaction of the alkaline metallic fuel 2 occurs. Since the oxidation agent gas 4 in the spacing part 1a sucked into the alkaline metallic fuel 2, an increase in inner pressure in the spacing 1a as found in the conventional system is prevented and an excitation characteristic caused by a generated heat under a reaction of the oxidation agent gas 4 with the alkaline metallic fuel 2.

摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate installation of a starting heat generating agent by molding alkali metal in a metal combustor in a desired form through control of core surface temperature and alkali metal temperature. CONSTITUTION:An assembling type and decomposable core 7 is installed in a metal combustor 4. In this time, a cartridge heater 7 is attached to the core 7 and a mold releasing agent is applied. Fused alkali metal is cast into the metal combustor 4 through a heater built-in transfer pipe 3 from an electric furnace 1. In casting, the core 7 is heated by a heater inside the core 7 so as to keep the surface temperature of the core 7 proper. The surface temperature of the core 7 is measured by a thermometer on the surface to see whether it is proper or not and controlled by a heater controller. Similarly the alkali metal temperature is measured by thermometers 5, 6 and the temperatures of the electric furnace 1 and the heater built-in transfer pipe 3 are controlled by the heater controller.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve reliability, by so constituting the titled device that a bellows in which compressed gas is enclosed is arranged in a closely fixed state between a stationary component between a valve seat and an inside housing and a movable component fixed to a valve stem, in an SF6 gas injection nozzle. CONSTITUTION:When SF6 gas pressure is entered into an inside housing 6 through an entrance 10, a bellows 12 in which compression gas is enclosed is pressed by the SF6 gas pressure through a fixing surface 14a for contraction. When the bellows 12 is contracted, a valve stem 1 is pushed out against a valve seat 4 through a movable component 14 and a valve is opened. In this instance, when the gas pressure and a spring constant of the bellows and the SF6 gas pressure are adjusted appropriately, a valve seat 2 part is opened by necessary opening. With this constitution, reliable action is obtained and reliability is improved.
