    • PURPOSE:To obtain a power system having the low outlet pressure of a condenser and improve the power performance of an underwater navigating body by a method wherein the title power system is provided with a system accumulator, communicating with an atmosphere provided between the condenser and a feed water pump, and one piece of pipeline, communicat ing with the system accumulator and a flow passage between the condenser and the feed water pump. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a system accumulator 7 provided between a condenser 3 and a feed water pump 6 is partitioned by a bladder 7a and a space 7c is opened to the inside of the main body of a machine through an open hole 7b while the inside of the main body is evacuated initially to reduce a pressure at the outlet port of the condenser 3. The liquid chamber 7d of the system accumulator 7 communicates with the flow passage 3a of a system through one piece of line 8. The inside of the main body of the machine is evacuated and the outlet pressure of the condenser 3 is reduced. When a water system in a cycle is balanced, water does not flow through the line 8 and, therefore, a pressure loss of a pipeline in the line 8 does not exist whereby the pressure loss of the flow passage between the outlet port of the condenser 3 and the feed water pump 6 can be reduced. The pressure loss of the flow passage does not exist and the back pressure of a turbine 2 is reduced since there is no pressure loss in the flow passage whereby the performance of a power system is im proved.

    • PURPOSE:To retain a preheating agent safely by a method wherein the preheating agent, arranged in the fuel of an alkaline metal, is fixed by fixing members, reacting against the alkaline metal, consisting of a metallic material burnt by an oxidizing agent and attached to the wall of the end of a combustor provided with the injection nozzle of the oxidizing agent. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical flange 10, having an oxidizing agent injection nozzle 9, is attached to a cylindrical ring 7, fixed to one ends of water tubes 1a, 1b, and an annular supporting member 11, fixed to the inner wall of the cylindrical ring 7, is provided with a screw thread on the inner wall thereof. A preheating agent 5 is supported by fittings 2, 3, 4 and, thereafter, the cylindrical flange 10, equipped with the injection nozzle 9 of the oxidizing agent, is secured to the end of the cylindrical ring 7 through welding or the like. The lengthwise vibration of the preheating agent 5 is prevented by the fittings 2, 3 while the lateral vibration of the same is prevented by the fitting 4 whereby the preheating agent 5 may be supported rigidly in an alkaline metal 6.

    • PURPOSE:To permit the regulation of the fluctuation of amount of water in a cycle accompanying the speed fluctuation of an underwater navigating body by providing the title propulsive system with a system accumulator interposed between a condenser and a feed water pump. CONSTITUTION:A system accumulator 6 is interposed on a flow passage between the outlet port of a condenser 4 and the inlet port of a feed water pump 5 while the central part of the inside of the system accumulator 6 is sealed by a rubber dia phragm 6a and one space of the same communicates with a propulsive system to conduct water from the condenser 4 through the space. When water in a cycle becomes excessive in accordance with the high speed or the low speed of an underwater navigat ing body, the rubber diaphragm 6a is inflated to receive the excessive water and when the water in the cycle has become short, the rubber diaphragm 6a is contracted to send the water in the cycle out whereby the change of the speed of the sailing body can be effected smoothly since the amount of water in the cycle is regulated stably at all times. When gas is produced in the cycle or air is mixed into the water in the cycle, the air or the gas is floated and is stagnated below the rear surface of the rubber diaphragm 6a whereby the air or the gas is sucked into the feed water pump 5 and the performance of the feed water pump 5 will never be deteriorated.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a closed metallic burner through suppression of the increase of the temperature of an alkali metal by a method wherein the one end of the alkali metal is supported by the tip parts with a thin section of inner and outer cylinder bodies, an oxidizing agent injection nozzle is welded to the hole of an annular flange to mount it thereto, and the annular flange to which the oxidizing agent nozzle is welded is welded to the whole peripheral surfaces of the rear end parts of the inner and outer cylinder bodies. CONSTITUTION:A molten alkali metal 3 is inserted through an opening of the one end part, formed with water tubes 1a and 1b, in a burner body 2. A longitudinal hole is formed in a central part by means of a core, and after the alkali metal is coagulated, a preheating agent 4 is inserted in the hole. Inner and outer bodies 2-1 and 2-2, the tip parts of which has thickness lower than that of the base parts thereof are inserted in the burner body 2 in a state to make contact with the inner peripheral surface of a water tube 1a and the outer peripheral surface of a water tube 1b. The parts, having a thin section on the inner side, of the inner and outer cylinder bodies 2-1 and 2-2 are brought into contact with the one end of the alkali metal for supporting. An annular weld flange 1 to which the given number of oxidizing agent injection nozzles 7 are welded and mounted is welded to the opening part of a rear end, formed with the inner and outer cylinder bodies 2-1 and 2-2, throughout whole peripheral surfaces A and B to close the burner body 2.
