    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device wherein complication of device constitutions is suppressed when positioning and fixing substantially isosceles trapezoidal shaped workpiece such as front and rear window glass for an automobile, and the workpiece is surely positioned and fixed.
      SOLUTION: To perform the positioning in relation to the window glass 18, both of a pair of abutting members 23 and 24 (or 27 and 28) abutting on the glass 18 are provided as integral constitutions rotatable around the same axis 26 (or 31) by each of a short bottom side part 19 and an oblique side part 22a (or 22b) for holding each of corner parts 20 and 21 located on the side of the short bottom side 19. This positioning device is constituted of: a centering mechanism constituted of two pairs of the integral constitutions A and B arranged at each symmetrical position corresponding to both of the corner parts 20 and 21; a link mechanism for connecting both of the integral constitutions A and B and synchronously operating the constitutions A and B in mutually symmetrical directions; and a lock mechanism for pressing and fixing a substantial center on the side of a long bottom side 42 of the glass 18 of a positioned state by the synchronous operation of the link mechanism by a pressing member 45 in the direction of a symmetrical axis 32 from the outside.

      SOLUTION: At the time when glass is fitted to a work to be fitted through the coating of adhesives, a glass mounting process where glass 18 is fixedly mounted on a carriage 6; a pretreatment process where the glass 18 in a state of being mounted on the carriage 6 is subjected to the pretreatment of adhesive coating process; a first conveyance process where the carriage 6 in a state of being mounted with the pretreated glass 18 subjected to the pretreatment is conveyed to a coating station 53; an adhesive coating process where the glass 18 in a state of being mounted on the carriage conveyed to the coating station 53 is subjected to the automatic coating of adhesives by a robot 54; and a second conveyance process where the carriage 6 in a state of being mounted with the glass 18 subjected to the coating of the adhesives is conveyed to a glass fitting area to the work to be fitted, are performed in this order. It is desirable that, as the pretreatment process, a degreasing stage and a primer coating stage are performed.

CONSTITUTION:A car body number is read from a table of results of inspecting a car or a car body 11 at every process for incorporating respective parts and a parts number attached to a sensor is read by a bar code reader 12 respectively. The car body number is defined to be a key word to input the parts number, a fastening torque value by a fastening tool 13, and a coupler fitting degree by a detecting means 14 or the like to a data processor 17 through a communication means 16. Then, the fastening torque value and the coupler fitting degree of the quality data collected in the respective processes and stored in the data processor 17 are compared with a standard value which is previously stored in the processor 17 and when there is only one part other than the standard value, a conveyor switching device 19 is driven so as to automatically carry a relevant car to a repairing process 9. The part other than the standard value is displayed.

    • PURPOSE: To positively check a state of being left unclamped and replacement timing of consumables by providing a discriminating means for discriminating normality and abnormality of torque, and an abnormality discriminating means for discriminating the abnormality of a control device itself. CONSTITUTION: An abnormality discriminating means of a torque controller 8 discriminates whether clamping toque has reached the value between the set lower limit value and the set upper limit value within the set clamping time while referring to clamping time counted by a counting means, and the discriminated result is displayed through a lamp of the controller 8. Whether or not the torque controller 8 itself is abnormal is further discrimianted by the abnormality discriminating means. In the case of being abnormal, that is, in the case of the set value of a digital switch being changed by misoperation, at the time of the number of clamped parts reaching the limit value and in the case of abnormality being generated to a path line and a memory, a self-diagnostic judgment signal S3 is outputted from the abnormality discriminating means to a CPU 10. The CPU 10 judges the arrival of replacement timing of consumables and switches a clamping system to a second clamping system by a driving signal.
