    • PURPOSE:To effect stable fuel control, by providing a valve to be opened by negative pressure greater than a prescribed value in a negative pressure pipe of a diaphragm unit actuated by negative pressure in an intake air pipe for controlling fuel in a device wherein a length of an intake pipe is controlled in accordance with an r.p.m. of an engine and on the other hand a fuel supply is also controlled. CONSTITUTION:An intake pipe of variable length 5 is provided in an enlarged intake chamber upstream of a carburetor. The intake pipe of variable length 5 actuates a servomotor 40 at a high rotational speed in response to an output from a control unit 41 so that a movable intake pipe 3 is separated from a fixed intake pipe 2 to substantially make the length of the intake pipe shorter. At the same time, the control unit 41 switches a changeover valve in a negative pressure pipe for introducing intake pipe pressure into a fuel control diaphragm to a negative pressure side. At the time, since a check valve 11 is provided in the negative pressure pipe, only positive pressure greater than a prescribed value is supplied into a negative pressure storage chamber regardless of pulsation of the negative pressure, whereby actuating negative pressure is stabilized and fuel is controlled stably.

    • PURPOSE: To correct the atmospheric pressure of fuel injection quantity with high accuracy over the whole range from the low load condition to the high load condition of a multiple-throttle valve type engine.
