A heat resisting elastic member 59 is interposed in the radially compressed state between the outer peripheral surface part of the other end of the carrier 54 and a recessed place 58 formed at the inner peripheral surface part of the outer pipe 55 facing the outer peripheral surface part, and the elastic member 59 is axially compressed between a pressing piece so and the end part 58b or the recessed place 58 by this pressing piece 60 protrusively provided at the outer peripheral surface of the carrier 54 so as to be engaged with the axial inner end face 59b of the elastic member 59.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idle intake amount control device of an engine accurately obtaining a predetermined minimum idle intake amount without being affected by a mutual manufacturing error among parts adjusting an intake mount of a bypass valve. SOLUTION: In a valve housing 6 of the bypass valve 5, an inlet hole 11 which always makes a valve chamber 16 communicate with an upstream part of a bypass passage 4, and an outlet hole 12 communicating with a downstream side of the bypass passage 4 are arranged. A valve piston 13 comprises: an idle adjusting hole 19 for opening/closing between a valve chamber 16 and the outlet hole 12 in accordance with an opening/closing operation of the valve piston 13; and an idle hole 20 which ensures the minimum idle intake amount by always opening the outlet hole 12 regardless of opening/closing position of the valve piston 13 at a position away from the idle adjusting hole 19.
