Fuel injection amount is calculated by each increasing correcting amount.

CONSTITUTION:An intake pipe of variable length 5 is provided in an enlarged intake chamber upstream of a carburetor. The intake pipe of variable length 5 actuates a servomotor 40 at a high rotational speed in response to an output from a control unit 41 so that a movable intake pipe 3 is separated from a fixed intake pipe 2 to substantially make the length of the intake pipe shorter. At the same time, the control unit 41 switches a changeover valve in a negative pressure pipe for introducing intake pipe pressure into a fuel control diaphragm to a negative pressure side. At the time, since a check valve 11 is provided in the negative pressure pipe, only positive pressure greater than a prescribed value is supplied into a negative pressure storage chamber regardless of pulsation of the negative pressure, whereby actuating negative pressure is stabilized and fuel is controlled stably.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of knocking by providing a retard controlling means delaying ignition timing of an engine when it is detected that the number of engine revolutions is within a predetermined number area and a gear ratio of a transmission is a high gear ratio. SOLUTION: During driving an engine 2, a CPU 6 determines whether the number Ne of engine revolutions read from an output of a crank angle sensor 1 is within a range from a first fixed number N1 (about 1500 rpm) to a second fixed number N2 (2400 rpm) of revolutions or not. If YES is determined, a gear ratio GR of a transmission is computed from the number Ne of engine revolutions at that time and a vehicle speed VSP read from an output of a vehicle speed sensor 19. Subsequently, it is determined whether the gear ratio GR is a high gear ratio or not, and in case of a high gear ratio, it is determined that a driving condition is within a knocking generation area. Therefore, a delay quantity is set in compliance with the number Ne of engine revolutions for retard ignition timing control, and ignition timing of an ignition device 21 is controlled so as to be delayed.
