The suction hose 3 is wound around the suction hose winding rotary drum 4 by a motor 14 and a power transmission belt 15, and has an internal clutch mechanism so as to draw it out without a resistance, and so that the connection to the winding motor 14 becomes free at the time of drawing it out. An operating switch 9 provided on the dust collecting part 2 executes turn-on and turn-off a power source of the driving motor 6 provided on the vacuum cleaner body 1, a control of a rotating speed and a control of a start of the winding motor 14.
