CONSTITUTION:The secondary fuel 49 is injected from a plurality of fuel nozzles 40 toward a secondary air ports 39 opened at a plurality of places and is mixed with secondary air stream 30 to supply it into the rear combustion chamber 11 and form a premixed flame 43. The primary fuel 44 is introduced from a plurality of primary fuel nozzles 46 into the head combustion chamber 7 and forms diluted low-temperature combustion flame 48 under being mixed with the air stream 24 or conditioned primary air stream 47. Adjusting valves 33, 42 are operated so that the flow amount of the primary fuel 44 becomes a constant ratio to air by the change of load by a proportional operator 50 adjusting the ratio of fuel to air. On the other hand, the secondary fuel 49 is introduced with a flow amount meeting the reduced part of the primary fuel 44 and the adjusting valves 41, 32 are operated so that the ratio of fuel to air, in which it is within the range of combustion and not generating CO or unburnt constituents, is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To restrict occurrence of non-combustible part when second step fuel is fed and improve a stable combustion by a method wherein the second step fuel feeding of a specified amount is fed in a stepwise manner and at the same time a similar amount of fuel for the first step is reduced. CONSTITUTION:The first step fuel 200 is fed to from a circumferential wall of a cylindrical cone 3 so as to perform a rapid mixing with combustion air supplied from the circumferential wall of a sub-chamber 2 to perform a combustion of lean mixture of low temperature to establish a low NOx. A second NOx is established by a method wherein fuel 201 of second stage is supplied to the interior of the rotor 6 to make a premixing of fuel and air and a uniform low temperature combustion is realized. Feeding of the second stage fuel during increasing of the load of gas turbine is performed in a specified amount in a stepwise manner and at the same time the first stage combustion is performed under a stepwise subtraction. With this feeding step, an incomplete combustion stage caused by excessive lean combustion in second stage is immediately passed and moved to a stable combustion zone, an excessive increasing of the non- combustible is restricted and non-stable combustion is also eliminated. A ratio between the second stage fuel flow rate and the air volume of second stage combustion shows a preferable ignition and combustion in a range of 0.01-0.04.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of NOx by a method wherein fuel is supplied to an inner tube, which is arranged within a combustor liner near its upstream end. CONSTITUTION:An inner tube 2 provided with openings 4 on the wall of the tube is fied within a cylindrical combustor liner 1 provided with air intake openings 10 on the wall of the liner near the upstream end of the liner in order to supply fuel in the interior of the inner tube 2. In addition, secondary fuel supply nozzles 19 and an air lead-in means are provided near an expanded portion formed by expanding the combustor liner 1 near its downstream. Consequently, a gas turbine combustor, in which the reduction of NOx due to premix effect can be realized, stable combustion can be performed with no fear of back firing, and yet pressure loss is scarce, is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce NOx and CO by a method wherein in the case of an LNG burning diluting air diffusion combustion type titled combustor attached with an air scoop hole, the projecting section of the air scoop hole is formed by combining a plurality of members having gradually reduced diameters, respectively, leaving gaps among the members. CONSTITUTION:A first scoop hole 18 having an inner diameter (d2) and a length (l2) is fixed to a combustion chamber 19 and a second scoop hole 21 having an inner diameter (d1) is fitted into the first scoop hole 18 through a support member 20 leaving a gap (t2) from the latter hole with the hole 21 projecting from the top end of the first scoop hole 18 by a length (l1). Likewise, a third scoop hole 22 having an inner diameter (d0) is fitted into the second scoop hole 21 leaving a gap (t1) from the latter hole with the hole 22 projecting from the hole 21 by a length (l0), to thereby form the air scoop hole having a predetermined length of projection L. With the a above structure, a part of air flowing through the scoop hole is injected from the gaps (t1) and (t2) so that the projections (l0) and (l1) are cooled. Therefore, it is possible to enlarge the length of the air scoop hole and to reduce the generation of NOx CO, HC and the like.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a premixing burner adapted to achieve an optimum burning from the viewpoint of NOx reduction, by effectively combining a multiple cylinder for realizing a compact construction in a burner having a long mixing flow passage. CONSTITUTION:Hollow portions 21, 18, 14 and 9 constituting a mixing chamber are concentrically formed in a multiple cylinder, and so a mixing flow passages can be made long with ease. In an embodiment shown, the mixing flow passage can be made about four times longer and as a result an air and a fuel experience a mixing procedure four times longer to facilitate their mixing very much. In addition, the mixing chamber has its hollow portions formed with reduced diameter in the direction of flow, thereby making it possible for the flow passage to progressively reduce its cross-sectional area with ease. Since an air-fuel mixture flows through the premixing burner with different speeds of V1>V2> V3>V4, further advantages in an efficient mixing and a back fire prevention can be obtained. In particular, an arrangement of combining several cylinders with different diameters in a concentric configuration provides a simplified construction which is advantageously easy to manufacture.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce NOX by injecting small amount of water by providing an inner cylinder formed of a premixture combustion chamber which has a combustion nozzle, a swirler and an air hole formed at the periphery and a water injection unit at the rear flow section and a rear combustion chamber in an outer cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An inner cylinder 29 formed of a premixture chamber 31 and a rear combustion chamber 32 of a diameter larger than that of the chamber 31 is provided in an outer cylinder 28. A fuel nozzle 36 is provided at the side inner end of the chamber 31, a swirler 33 and an air hole 34 are formed on the outer periphery, and a water injection nozzle 43 is provided at the rear flow section of the chamber 31. Fuel 24 introduced from the fuel nozzle 36 is mixed with air streams 25-27 from the swirler 33 and the air hole 34, and low temperature combustion is continued. Since NOX is produced due to main flame 42 in the step of burning, NOX reducing effect can be raised with less amount of water by performing the uniformly cooling of the flame with the water 44.
