    • PURPOSE:To cool the interior of a flame holder to improve flame holding performance by fixing a flame holder of obtuse shape near the exit of premixed gas in a radial direction of a combustion cylinder and inserting an insertion tube with an opening on the side of an air passage on the side of the outer periphery of the combustion cylinder into the flame holder. CONSTITUTION:In a second-stage combustion cylinder 10, a cylindrical flame holder 12 is provided through the wall of the cylinder 10 by means of a flange 15 immediately downstream of the outlet section of premixed gas, in which the holder 12 has a length nearly equal to the width of an annular outlet passage of a premixing device and its inner peripheral end is open to a combustion chamber and an insertion tube 13 having an opening on the side of air of the cylinder 10 and having thereon a plurality of air blowoff holes 14 is fixed to the interior of the holder 12. In this manner, the premixed gas forms a low velocity flow region partially accompanying reverse flows downstream of the holder and is ignited, whereby the premixed gas as a whole is burned stably. And cooling air for the holder, as a flow 103 of the inlet of the tube and an impinging jet flow 103' from the holes 14, cools the inner surface of the holder, flows through the annular section between the holder 12 and tube 13 and flows out of the end of the holder as a flow 104.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent discharge of CO and other from an unburnt gas combustor by a construction wherein a premixed gas supply means located on one side of a combustion cylinder is formed of a first premixed gas supply means disposed concentrically with the combustion cylinder and operating in a high-load zone of the combustor and of a second premixed gas supply means disposed in the outer peripheral part of said means and operating in a low-load zone. CONSTITUTION:A premixing chamber 4 (for supplying a second premixed gas) is provided in the center of the head of an inner cylinder 2, and a first-stage premixing burner 8, i.e. a first premixing gas supply means, is provided on the outer periphery of said premixing chamber, that is, in the vicinity of the inner wall surface of the inner cylinder. When combustion is started, an ignition plug 14 is operated, while a fuel 12 is jetted from an auxiliary burner 13, and thereby a flame is formed in a recessed part 11. Next, a fuel 6 premixed in a first stage is made to flow in a prescribed amount and an inflammable mixture is formed thereof and jetted from the premixing burner 8. In high-load combustion, moreover, a fuel 18 premixed in a second stage is introduced into a combustion nozzle 16 of the premixing chamber 4 and an inflammable mixture is supplied into a combustion chamber 5. According to this constitution, production of an unburnt component, i.e. CO, can be prevented satisfactorily.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to display an excellent combustion performance and to reduce exhaustion of harmful substances in the entire operation including the ignition for starting the gas turbine and the changeover of the fuel by making variable first- stage combustion air and second-stage combustion air. CONSTITUTION:A combustor 51 is provided on its upstream side with a first stage combustion chamber A and on its downstream side with a second-stage combustion chamber B. The first-stage combustion chamber B is formed by a first-stage combustion cylinder 1 having a plurality of combustion air ports 2 around its peripheral wall and an annular space formed by inserting an inner cylindrical cone 5 on the substantially same axis as the first stage combustion cylinder 1. The second stage combustion chamber B opens a second stage combustion air flowpath consisting of an inner peripheral ring 9, an outer peripheral ring 8 and a turning vane 7, on the outer peripheral side of a donwstream end portion of the first stage combustion cylinder 1, and is formed as a space encircled by a second stage combustion cylinder 12 provided on the outside of the outer peripheral ring 8. A slide ring 16 is moved axially of the burner by a link mechanism whereby it is possible to make variable the variable opening areas of the first and second stages. Hence, while excellently maintaining combustion, the changeover of the combustion can be carried out.

    • PURPOSE:To make a substantial reduction of NOx by a method wherein a method for dispersing fuel which does not form a local hot temperature combustion part is employed and a mixing space for fuel and air is reduced. CONSTITUTION:Since a fuel injection part 22 is positioned at a location near the side wall of a top end combustion chamber 11, a fast mixing with air stream 28 is performed at air holes 19a, 19b, 19c and 19d, and a cooling with the air at the initial stage of combustion can be performed, so that an occurrence of hot spot can be restricted. A length of an inner core 13 is made shorter than a top combustion chamber 11, and even if an acceleration of combustion gas is generated from the extremity end of the cone to the outlet port of the top combustion chamber, it may have a volume which is endurable against a rapid expansion of the ignited gas. A pressor member 38 forming a second stage combustion air passage and a nozzle flange 39 are connected to keep the positions of the circulating vanes 37 and the nozzle injection ports 35 at their specified positions, so that even if the gas turbine is operated for long hours and a uniform mixing of second stage fuel and air can always be promoted. With the foregoing, the fuel is dispersed to cause a uniform mixing of fuel and air to be performed and an excessive air combustion with low air temperature is carried out and then a substantial reduction of NOx can be attained.

CONSTITUTION:The outlet port 72 of the cooling air passage 71 in the bucket of the movable blade 7 is made to open in a shank chamber 37 formed within the shank of the blade 7 and a flowout hole 73 is provided underside a sealing fin 55 on the side wall 35 of the shank so as to open in the intermediate chamber 52. Thus, the cooling air passed through the cooling air passage 71 is flowed into the intermediate chamber 52 from the flowout hole 73 so that it is reused as sealing air for the prevention of the flowing out of the operating gas and as leak air for labyrinth sealing.
