    • PURPOSE:To attain remote gage examination without starting a subscriber telephone set by catching a gage examinating device with a start from transmitting side device and connecting the device, receiving a subscriber number via the gage examinating device and connecting the device to a subscriber terminal. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic exchange of the stored program control system, a remote gage examinating device NRT is accommodated in a trunk link frame TLF and a subscriber terminal device SUB-B counting the amount of use of civil water, gas and electricity or the like is installed in parallel with a subscriber telephone set SUB-A. When a device number is received from a calling side device at the gage side, the device NRT corresponding to the number is causght, the device is connected to the calling side device via the frame TLF, and the subscriber number for gage examination is received via the device NRT. Further, the device NRT calls the corresponding device SUB-B via the frame TLF and a line link frame LLF, and transmits/receives the information for remote gage examination nd attains the remote gage examination of the amount of civil water or the like counted by the device SUB-B.

    • PURPOSE:To detect a fault in program processing of an electronic switchboard without using a subscriber circuit nor a trunk circuit, by using an abnormal state detecting circuit which forms a counter circuit with a program control and a signal source. CONSTITUTION:Counter circuit relays 23-26 count the actions and releases of an RC realy 22 repeated with each fixed time. When the 2nd 3-min inter-earth signal is applied from a monitor supply rack SSF, a 3-min inter-relay 20 is actuated. However, an alarm relay 27 has no actuation since a relay 26 is set under a self-holding state. Thus the normalness of a program can be confirmed. If an abnormal state arises to the program control, a relay 22 is not actuated and kept under an inactive state. Therefore relays 23-26 are inactive since an RC relay contact 22a has no connection. Here if the relay 20 is actuated, a 3-min inter-relay contact 20c has a connection. Then the relay 27 works. As a result, an alarm relay contact 27b has a connection to turn on an alarm lamp 29 and then to ring an alarm bell 30.
