    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the deformation of a cab as much as possible during the application of a force from a front side during car traveling caused by a slight increase in a car weight without making the full length of the car long. SOLUTION: A first beam 21 extended in the advancing direction of a vehicle is arranged in each of the pair of side doors 16 of a cab 12 to be tilted, a second beam 22 extended in the vehicle advancing direction is arranged in each of both side walls 14 of the cab in the rear sides of the pair of side doors and a third beam 23 extended in the vehicle advancing direction is arranged in a specified space 15 between the cab and a load base. A compressing strength increases in order of the third, second and first beam and a compressing strength increases from the rear end of the second beam toward its front end. The first, second and third beams are arranged roughly on a straight line and the third beam is arranged with is rear end attached to the front face of the load base and its front end close to the back face of the cab.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength of a cab by forming a deformation beginning part, which becomes a beginning for permanent deformation so as to make a rear cross member crush in the longitudinal direction of the cab, in the longitudinal direction of the rear cross member at the time when compressive load in the longitudinal direction of the cab acts on the rear cross member. SOLUTION: When external force in the longitudinal direction is added to a cab 1, and compressive load in the same direction acts on a rear cross member 14, this member 14 is positively made into compressive deformation with a bead 21 as a beginning. With this, it absorbs energy of the external force added to the cab 1. At this time, the rear cross member 14 is lengthened in the width direction of the cab 1, and its board thickness is large enough, and since it is a member having high rigidity inherently, the rear cross member 14 like this is made into the permanent deformation so as to be crushed in the longitudinal direction, so that large energy is thus absorbable. Accordingly, the board thickness of each panel constituting the cab 1 can be set up to be smallish.

    • PURPOSE: To suppress deformation of a cab and a rear arch by producing the dispersion of a load through effective utilization of a floor frame being the main skeleton of the carburetor. CONSTITUTION: In a truck wherein the central part of the rear end of a cab 2 mounted on a car body frame 1 inclinably centering around the lower part of a front end is disengageably engaged with the central part of a rear arch 3 fixed to the car body frame 1 through a lock mechanism 8, engaging holes are respectively formed in the under surfaces of the rear end parts of a pair of right and left floor frames 7 extending along a longitudinal direction and mounted on the under surface of a floor panel 6. Hooks 10 pointing to above are respectively arranged in the positions, corresponding to the engaging holes, of the rear arch 3. Protrusions protruding to a front and a rear are formed on the tip parts of the hooks 10 and by thrusting the hook in the engaging hole from below with a given gap therebetween for holding in the operating state of the lock mechanism 8, deformation of the cab 2 and the rear arch 3 due to a load exerted in a longitudinal direction is suppressed.
