    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impede jump-out of an impact beam at the time of a side collision by setting a fitting position of an impact beam in such a way that its front end face is opposed to an inner panel part forming a door body front wall part and that its rear end face is opposed to an inner panel part forming a door body rear wall part. SOLUTION: At the time of arranging an impact beam inside a door body, the impact beam 9 is extended in the longitudinal direction of the door body, and its front part 9a and rear part 9b are integrally connected to an inner panel 4 by brackets 10, 11. In this case, a base part 10a of the front side bracket 10 is integrally fixed to the vehicle outer side face of the front part 9a of the impact beam 9, and a front end part 10b of the front side bracket 10 is fixed to the inner panel 4 along with a hinge support. Upper and lower front end flanges 10c of the front side bracket 10 are fixed to the hinge support and a front wall part 7 of the door body. The rear side bracket 11 is fixed to the vehicle inner side face of a rising flange part 13a of a door lock stiffener 13.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain deformation of a door by improving reinforcing force by an impact beam by making at least one end of the impact beams made of a pipe material to connect front and rear end edges of a door main body face to the neighbourhood of a door hinge and by making a head end of a fixing bolt for the door hinge get into the inside of the impact beam. SOLUTION: An impact beam 11 is arranged on a straight line connecting a door hinge 4 inside a door main body 3 and a door lock. This impact beam 11 is constituted of a pipe material open on both ends and circular on its closed cross section, and a bracket 12 welded on its end surface is fixed on a door inner panel 2 by spot welding. Thereafter, a head end of a long bolt 5 to fasten and fix the door hinge 4 and the door lock on the door main body 3 is made to get into the inside of an end part opening of the impact beam 11. Consequently, a connecting part of the door main body 3 and the bracket 11 is peeled by an excessive load toward the longitudinal direction, or even in the case when the bracket 12 is deformed, slippage of the impact beam 11 is prevented.
