    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device capable of measuring the current and voltage of its each battery at the same timing, and capable of suppressing an increase in circuit scale more than in conventional devices. SOLUTION: The power supply device 1 includes a battery pack 6 wherein a plurality of battery cells 5 are connected in series, and battery-status measuring means 3A-3N. Each of the battery-status measuring means 3A-3N has: a measuring circuit 55 for measuring the status of a battery cell or a plurality of battery cells 5 in response to a control signal; a group of control signal transmission circuits 58c each for outputting at its output terminal 58o the control signal input to its input terminal 58i; and a group of measurement-result-signal transmission circuits 57c each for creating a new data signal based on a data signal and the result of measurement by the measuring circuit 55 in response to inputting of the data signal to its input terminal 57i, and outputting the new signal at its output terminal 57o. The battery-status measuring instruments 3A-3N are connected by daisy chain connection with their input terminals 58i and output terminals 58o, and are connected by daisy chain connection with their input terminals 57i and output terminals 57o.
