摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To build up DC power at a high speed while preventing commutation failure by closed-loop margin angle control if abnormality such as an accident occurs. SOLUTION: A margin angle control circuit 74 takes in a margin angle detected value and a phase-control angle value corresponding to it for each valve to produce a margin angle control signal for each valve. The margin angle control signal is obtained by computing phase-control angle correcting amount based on a difference between the margin angle detected value and a margin angle command value, and adding it to the fetched phase-control angle value. In the case of three-phase batch control, the minimum value of the margin angle control signal for each valve is taken to use as the overall phase-control signal. In the case of respective phase individual control, the control signal of respective phases is switched according to control timing. It is thus possible to prevent commutation failure in the case of abnormality and build up the DC power at a high speed.

Thus, the presence or the absence of the completion of the commutation can be effectively decided even at the time of a malfunction such as the time of a DC short-circuit.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for a DC transmission line which is capable of high-speed accident judgment without malfunction by reducing errors in charge current compensation by simple method. SOLUTION: The measured values of DC currents and DC voltage are reduced for high frequency components by a low pass filter 62 after being sampled by an input processor 61. A charge current computer 62 computes the amount of compensation of charge currents by difference computation. The value being left after subtracting the component of compensation of charge currents from the measured value of the DC current is sampled with a sample & hold circuit 64, and is transmitted to the other end. The sampled value is inputted into an operation judger 65 together with the value transmitted from the other end. The operation judger obtains the quantity of operation, taking the difference between both ends, and in case that the quantity of operation is larger than the sensitiveness of the relay, this sends out an operation signal to a controller, judging it as an accident. Hereby, high-speed accident judgment becomes possible without malfunction caused by charge currents.

Thus, the commutation failure owing to the phase abrupt change of the voltage and the current can be prevented, power can be provided as much as possible during the power converting, and power transmission can be rapidly recovered at the time of removing the accident.
