摘要： PURPOSE:To ensure the optimum PID control and to shorten the starting time of a process control system by providing a function which can change the PID constant even in the course of control to a programmable controller which performs both the sequence control and the PID control in parallel with each other. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 performs a PID operation by reference to the PID constant stored in a work memory 8. Therefore it is possible to obtain the optimum PID constant without interrupting the PID control halfway as long as the PID constant stored in the memory 8 is rewritten while no PID operation is carried out. For this purpose, a user writable area is provided as a memory area in addition to a CPU reference area and the contents of the user writable area are replaced in a mode other than the PID control. Thus the PID constant can be changed to the optimum value with no interruption of operation of a programmable controller. Then the starting time of a process control system can be shortened.

For instance, the part 61 of the case 12a interlocks the part 60 of the case 12b. Furthermore both parts 60 and 61 are extended in the direction rectangular to the attachment side of a base 10. The front panel sides of both stage parts are opened so that the case 12b can be pulled out to the front side although both cases 12a and 12c sandwiching the case 12b are attached to the base 10. Thus the packing efficiency of a module type sequencer is improved.
