A water suction pipe 10 is allowed to communicate with the inside of the hood 9, and the water is sucked by a submerged pump 11 and purified by a filter 12 and a desalter 13. Then the water is returned from a return pipe 14 to a water tank 1.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install an electrical discharge machining electrode to a plurality of works to be cut by providing a turning mechanism to perform the turn- positioning so that an end face of the electrical discharge machining electrode is opposite to the work, and an electrode feeding mechanism to move the end face of the electrical discharge machining electrode in the attaching/detaching direction to/from the work. SOLUTION: An electrical discharge machining electrode 5 is fed in the direction 151 by a feeding mechanism 7 in a condition where the voltage is applied between an ICM housing 103 and the electrical discharge machining electrode 5 to perform the cutting by the discharge between the ICM housing 103 and the electrical discharge machining electrode 5. When the cutting is completed, the electrical discharge machining electrode 5 is fed in the direction 152 to pull the electrical discharge machining electrode 5 into a base. Then, the electrical discharge machining electrode 5 is turn-positioned in the direction 153 by a turning mechanism for the next cutting operation, and an unused end 153 to be machined is directed in the delivering direction of the electrical discharge machining electrode 5 in place of a worn machining end 162 which is worn in the electrical discharge machining.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the discharge of sludge and perform a stable electric discharge machining even under a specific environment within a unclear reactor by generating a flow in the fluid between a rotating electrode and a workpiece. SOLUTION: A rotating electric discharge machining device is set on a structure to be cut within a reactor pressure vessel by underwater remote control, and the electric discharge machining device is connected to an electric discharge machining power source temporarily set on the sixth floor of a reactor building through a feed cable. When a workpiece 2 is cut, the electric discharge machining power source temporarily set on the sixth floor of the reactor building is remotely operated, whereby the workpiece 2 is cut while continuously normally rotating or reversely rotating the electrode 1 during cutting. Therefore, a flow shown by an arrow 3 is generated in the reactor water between the electrode 1 and the workpiece 2. The sludge generated in electric discharge machining is forcedly discharged to the outside from the working part by the flow 3 of the reactor water.

The arm 41 is turned around the axis 45 while sliding on the joint 42 accompanied by the movement of a stage 12 by the control of a feeding mechanism 13 from the electrical discharge machining power source. The electrical discharge machining electrodes 2 on the tip of a support beam 46 are rotated at the same angle to simultaneously cut every stud bolt.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable adjusting the axis automatically during loading a nozzle plug and prevent the puncture at the initial operation of the tube in a seal mechanism. CONSTITUTION:On the outside of the tip of a plug body 11, an endless tube 12 which is swelled by air, is turned around and this plug body 11 coarsely positioned is inserted in the pipe nozzle at the tip. Then an axis adjusting mechanism support 21 is inserted deeply by extending a cylinder for running 22 and a cylinder for cramper 24 is extended and so the axis is automatically adjusted and fixed in the pipe nozzle by three crampers 23. After that the cylinder for running 22 is shortened so that the plug body 11 is inserted in the pipe nozzle in the adjusted state. By providing projections in the endless tube 12 and the tube at the junction of air supply pipe, initial path for air is formed around the projections. Thus, even if the tube is pressed, air is smoothly introduced in the tube and so puncture is prevented.
