    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing a fall of a coil in a C-shaped hook.SOLUTION: A coil fall prevention device of a C-shaped hook has: a shaft 34 for making the lower end 13 of the C-shaped hook 10 extend to a substantially-horizontal direction; a plate-shaped stopper 31 which is connected to the tip of the shaft so as to rotate together the shaft, and can take a locking position (Fig. 2 (a)) for preventing a fall of a coil by locking the side face of the coil, and a waiting position (Fig. 2 (b)) not interfering with the side face of the coil; and a lever 37 firmly adhered to the base end of the shaft and switch-operating the plate-shaped stopper between the locking position and the waiting position by rotating the shaft from the body rear face side of the C-shaped hook. The plate-shaped stopper is position-regulated to the waiting position by abutting on an abutting plate 39 arranged at the tip of the lower end of the C-shaped hook, and position-regulated to the locking position by the abutment of the abutting plate 38 arranged at the body rear face side of the C-shaped hook on the lever.
