    • PURPOSE:To restrain the occurrence of bearing separation phenomenon by using a corrosion resistance material containing at least the specified ratio or more of chrome for both or one of race and rolling element materials in all or at least one of the aforesaid bearings positioned in a compressor. CONSTITUTION:When a drive shaft 1 rotates, a swash plate 2 rotates as well. Then, a piston support 7 retained on the swash plate 2 via a thrust roller bearing 5 and a radial ball bearing 6, performs oscillation motion. As a result, a piston 9 connected to the piston support 7 via a connecting rod 8 reciprocally moves within the bore 11 of a cylinder 10. Consequently, a low pressure refrigerant passes the suction port 26 of a rear cover 19 and is absorbed from a low pressure chamber 17 into the bore 11 via a suction valve 15 located at a suction port 12. The low pressure refrigerant is thereby turned into a high pressure refrigerant, thereby causing the separation of the surface layer of a bearing rolling element in a short time. In the aforesaid constitution, a martensite stainless steel (SUS 440C as per JIS) having corrosion resistance quality and a less hydrogen diffusion factor than conventional bearing steel, for example, is selected as the material of the aforesaid bearing material.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the sliding member of Al series alloy particularly having excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance by permitting a crystallized substance or a precipitated substance dispersed into an alloy to project from the surface of the above alloy and forming a nitride or oxide layer on the surface of the projected crystallized substance or precipitated substance. CONSTITUTION:A crystallized or precipitated substance is dispersed into an Al series alloy and the surface of the Al series alloy is selectively removed by chemical or/and physical methods to project the above crystallized or precipitated substance. Next, N ions or O ions implanted onto the surface of the above Al series alloy and the crystallized or precipitated substance to form a nitride or oxide layer on the surface, by which the sliding face with other members can be obtd. As the result, the nitride or oxide layer of the above crystallized or precipitated substance is transformed into a hard phase, and on the other hand, the layer of the nitride or oxide of Al transformed into a recessed part retains lubricating oil, by which wear resistance is improved. Thus, the sliding member of the Al series alloy having the above characteristics can be obtd. Furthermore, as the crystallized or precipitated substance dispersed into the Al series alloy, for example, Si is given.

    • PURPOSE:To excellently prevent collision of a piston with a cylinder head by a method, in a piston reciprocated through a connecting rod by a rockably- operated piston support, specially-angled chamfering is applied on the cylinder head side. CONSTITUTION:In a single swash plate type compressor, a rockably-operated piston support, not shown, and a piston 5 are intercoupled through a connecting rod 26 provided at its end part with a spherical surface so that the piston 5 is reciprocatively moved within a cylinder 28. In this case, chamfering 38 at an angle of 0.5-10 deg. is applied on the cylinder head 7 side of the piston 5. A plane part 36 having a size lower than the outer size of the piston 5 is formed on the cylinder head 7 side of the piston 5, and chamfering 38 at an angle of 0.5-10 deg. is applied on the outer peripheral part of the piston. When the piston 5 is inclined at the interior of the cylinder 28, this constitution prevents collision of the piston 5 with an SV plate 32 on the cylinder head 7 side with a minimum clearance volume 40.
