摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed control device of passenger conveyer in which passengers can carry out the speed reducing operation of the steps securely, and they can ride on the steps whose speed is reduced smoothly. SOLUTION: An operation body 7 is provided at the position of either specific height of 950 to 1050 mm from a floor surface 6, as well as erected to the near side at either specified distance L of 1 to 2.5 m from the addendum part 4A of a comb plate 4, and it has an operation surface 7A inclining either specific angle of 20 to 40 deg. to the floor surface 6 at the upper part.
