    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization method of a blood product with shortened processing time and an increased sterilization effect since there are problems that heating for a long period of time is needed in a sterilization method by heat treatment, the treatment takes time and also the sterilization effect is low.
      SOLUTION: In the sterilization method of the blood product, bacteria in a blood product enclosing container 45 enclosing the blood product are sterilized by pressure waves generated by discharge. To put it concretely, liquid 41 like tap water is put into a container 19 opened at the upper part, the discharge electrode part 6 of an electrode device 2 is installed in the liquid 41, and the blood product enclosing container 45 is positioned near the discharge electrode part 6. The pressure waves generated by the discharge between the electrodes 4;5 of the discharge electrode part 6 are transmitted to the inside of the blood product enclosing container 45 through the liquid as a pressure wave transmission medium, and the bacteria inside the blood product enclosing container 45 are annihilated by the transmitted pressure waves.
