    • PURPOSE:To connect a host computer and an automatic transacting device by using a public telephone circuit to prevent disabled connection by reading out plural telephone numbers of the host side successively from the automatic transacting device side to control dialing. CONSTITUTION:A circuit control part 14 in the automatic transacting device controls telephone connection and the transmission/reception of data. The circuit control part 14 reads out the telephone number stored in a number register 17, transmits the telephone number to an exchange connection unit 6 and send dial pulse signals corresponding to the telephone number from the exchange connection unit 6. If telephone connection with the host computer is failed even when a fixed time set up in a timer 15 passed, the succeeding telephone number is taken out from a number selecting part 18.
