摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when MS data of a bankbook are destroyed in an automatic transaction device, a customer cannot restore the destroyed MS data on the spot without visiting a bank counter or the entered bankbook cannot to be reissued. SOLUTION: The automatic transaction machine includes: an information acquisition means (a control unit 7) for acquiring card information read from a card which the customer has inserted and a password which the customer has input when a read error of the MS data occurs during the transaction using a bankbook; an MS restoration request means (the control unit 7) for sending the information acquired by the information acquisition means to a center and requesting restoration of the magnetic stripe data of the bankbook; and an MS restoration means (the control unit 7) for writing information to the magnetic stripe for restoration of the bankbook on the basis of permission information when the permission information as a result of the center determining the validity of the request on the basis of the card information and password acquired by the information acquisition means and sent to the center.
