    • PURPOSE:To secure the primary property of a motor adequately by cooling a permanent magnet with a coolant in a freezing cycle when the temperature of the permanent magnet in a DC brushless motor to drive a scroll type compressor exceeds a specific value. CONSTITUTION:When a brushless motor 10 is driven, a scroll member 21 at the movable side rotates to a scroll member 23 at the fixed side through a driving shaft 11. As a result, a coolant is led in from a suction pipe 2, and after compressed by the both scroll members 21 and 23 while cooling a magnet 13 and a coil 17 of the motor 10, it is discharged from a discharge pipe 3. In this case, the temperature of the magnet 13 is detected by a Hall element 20, and the result is input to a control unit 19. When the detected temperature is higher than a set temperature, a solenoid 30a is controlled to convert a three- way switch valve 30. Consequently, the coolant passing through a condenser 27 is let flow to the motor 10, and the magnet 13 is cooled.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to precisely control pilot fuel injection and main fuel injection following the latter by controlling the time intervals of control signals for a fuel overflow solenoid valve in accordance with an output signal from a DVC sensor. CONSTITUTION:A fuel overflow solenoid valve 11 for opening and closing the passage between a pressurizing chamber which pressurizes fuel and pressure- feeds fuel into a fuel injection valve, and a return passage 15, is twice energized in accordance with control signals at a predetermined interval during one pressure-feed cycle so as to allow the fuel injection nozzle to perform pilot inject on and main injection. In this arrangement, a DVC sensor 40 delivers an actual valve closing signal and an actual valve opening signal in accordance with the motion of a needle valve 105 in the solenoid valve. Further, a control circuit 9 controls the time intervals of the control signals for the solenoid valve 11 in accordance with an output from the DVC sensor 40. With this arrangement it is possible to set the predetermined time intervals a ways to an optimum value in accordance with a change of the solenoid valve 11, thereby it is possible to control always the pilot injection and the main injection following the latter.
