摘要： PURPOSE:To provide the titled typewriter capable of correcting mistaken data prior to printing the same, constituted in such a mechanism that latter data put in from a keyboard is displayed every one line by a display unit and the input of the next letter data from the keyboard is enabled during printing. CONSTITUTION:Letter data to be printed is successively put in from a keyboard 11 and successively displayed in a visual state by a letter display unit 14 through the memory function of a control circuit 12. When the input of the letter data of one line is completed, one line of the letter data is displayed by the display unit 14. After a desired one line of the letter data is put in, the printing order key on the keyboard is pressed to erase the letter display of the dispaly unit 14 which is in turn transferred to letter display due to the next letter data and a printer 13 is driven to print the next one line of the letter data.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the compact printer wherein the contact points of lead switches are opened and closed by permanent magnets which are fixed to a gear that is associatively moved with a type wheel, the timing signal generating mechanism constituted by the lead switches is provided, and eroneous operation is not caused by paper powder, oily dirt, and the like. CONSTITUTION:A rotary plate 156 is rotated by gears 156a and 156b which are engaged with a gear 52 provided on the side face of the type wheel. The timing signal generating mechanism is constituted by permanent magnets 157a and 157b, which are provided on the side surface of the rotary plate 156 and lead switches L1 and L2. The lead switches L1 and L2 are fixed on the same circumference in a lead switch attaching box 54 attached to a side plate 3 in the vicinity of the gear 52 under the state they are separated by 90 degrees in the circumferential direction. The switches generate the timing signal corresponding to the odd number digits and the even number digits of the type belt.

摘要： PURPOSE:To miniaturize a printer and to make the printed letters clear, by making the type missing part of a type belt for feeding paper serve as a type belt securing part. CONSTITUTION:Opposite ends of the type belt 8 are respectively provided with flat parts 11, on the upper surface of one of the parts 11 are provided a plurality of short columnar projections 12 in a staggered pattern, and the back surface of the parts 11 are provided with a plurality of small recesses 13 that can mate with the projection 12. The opposite parts 11 of the thus formed type belt are overlapped and the projections 12 are fitted into the recesses 13 to make the type belt 8 annular. Types are omitted in the flat parts 11, 11, where the printing paper is advanced to be fed by mechanical sequence. The type missing parts have dummy types 14 having a height approximately equal to or slightly lower than types, so that oscillations of an ink roller are reduced, and when the ink roller rides from the type missing parts onto the first types, the ink is squeezed to prevent the ink from adhering in a large amount.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a printer having a small size and a good printing quality by a method wherein a type wheel, in which a type belt is formed into a beltlike configuration, both ends thereof are overlapped to fix them and the belt is wound around a peripheral surface of a base table, is accommodated in the printer. CONSTITUTION:Pulse signals of A, B, C, D phases are impressed to a pulse motor under shifting the timing thereof sequentially and a type wheel is rotated in a given constant angle at every impressing of the pulse signals. Under this condition, when a command to print a specified letter is inputted from a control circuit, the type wheel is stopped at a predetermined printing position, a current is flowed in a coil 31 of a selected plunger 34 and a movable iron core 30 is attracted against a coil spring 33. Consequently, a hammer 23 is advanced, a hammering portion 24 strikes a protruding portion 10 of the selected type wheel and presses a printing paper 99 against a platen 76 to effect a printing. In this case, the type belt having an elasticity is extended and the sure printing may be effected.

摘要： PURPOSE:To accomplish a clear printing small in size and at a low cost by giving intermittent motion to the letter wheel with a handy means employing a single DC motor for the drive source of various mechanisms. CONSTITUTION:The driving force of a DC motor 6 is used to perform the rotation and shifting of the numeric wheel 1 and the symbol wheel 2, the action of the printing hammer 10 and the intermittent movement of the printing paper. The driving force of the DC motor 6 is transmitted to a gear 4 of a common shaft 3 on the numeric wheel 1 and the symbol wheel 2 so as to rotate the two wheels at a constant speed except for the printing operation. Normally, the numeric wheel 1 and the ratchet wheel 38 rotates clockwise together with the shaft 3 through a spiral spring 40. By the numeric printing signal, the printing hammer 10 turns counterclockwise and then, the press contact section 10a pushes a stopper 43 through the printing paper P to have the pawl 43a engaging the ratchet 38. The rotation of the number wheel is halted while the press contact section 10a of the hammer causes the printing paper P to be pressed in contact with the numeric section of the numeric wheel 1. Thus, the numeric values are recorded.

CONSTITUTION:By the hammer position change over instruction from the key, signal PS of print control circuit PC is held at a high level to close AND gate A1 while opening A2. Then, electromagnet unit HS is excited to confront the hammer with paper on a desk. As a result, the home position is changed from h1 over to h2 and circuit PC discriminates that to change the count contents of character counter CC. For exmaple, when a shift is made by three characters from h1 regarded as the home position h2 can be used as the home position. For this purpose, counter CC, when counting three characters, is reset with gate A2 open and made to count up from one, and consequently printing types are counted correctly by regarding h2 as the home position, thereby printing out on the paper on the desk.
