摘要： PURPOSE:To enable a type part on a belt to move more rapidly in response to an internal impact and contrive to print more correctly by a construction wherein a close contact between a type belt and a base is prevented by a mechanical means, such as by providing projections on the type belt. CONSTITUTION:The type belt 1 is provided with projections 1c so as to reduce the contact surface area of the type belt 1 and the base 2, generating a clearance between the belt 1 and the base 2 and alleviating the closely contacted condition. The same effect can be achieved also by providing stepped parts 2b on the base 2 at predetermined intervals by integral molding. The type parts may be made of silicon rubber, nitrile rubber or the like. In particular, when the type members are made of a silicon rubber, the spreading of an ink on the type face can be enhanced by roughening the surface thereof by a mechanical or chemical treatment or other treatment such as corona discharge.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable that printed characters can be seen after completion of a printing operation by a method wherein a platen rotatably arranged near a type wheel is rotated in the direction away from the type wheel after the completion of a printing operation. CONSTITUTION:When a printing operation is completed and a type wheel 11 comes to a certain position, a partially serrated wheel 13 meshes with a rubber roller gear 15, while a rubber roller 17 and a pinch roller 24 rotate and printing paper 23 held between them is fed upward by a predetermined distance span. By the rotation of the rubber roller gear 15, a partially serrated wheel 16 fixed to the other end of a shaft 14 rotates and meshes with a partially serrated wheel 21 to rotate the latter, one end of the motched portion of the latter wheel 21 contacts a stopper pin 22 to rotate a platen 19 clockwise about a shaft 18 against the tensile force of a spring 20, and the platen 19 parts from the type wheel 11 by a predetermined angle span, so that the printing paper 23 also parts from the type wheel 11 together with the platen 19. Accordingly, the printed-character position 27 is checked securely by the eyes of 26 of the user.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make a small-sized printing device and to provide a positive printing by a method wherein a hammer assembly is stored in a type wheel, a rotation thereof is stopped in order to perform a printing operation. CONSTITUTION:Between the side plates 1 and 2 is rotatably supported a type wheel 4 and a printing operation is made for a sheet 43 on the platen 26 by a hammer 20 fixed in the type wheel. The type wheel 4 is rotated for a specified angle by a plunger and ratchet mechanism. When an instruction for printing a character B, for example, is issued from the control circuit, a type wheel rotating pulse is held for a period of time t4 when the type wheel 4 is placed at a position to perform a printing and then the rotation of the type wheel 4 is completely stopped. When the type wheel 4 is stopped, the pulse signal is applied to the plunger 12 for a period of time t3 and then the hammer 20 is operated to perform a printing.

The head portion 11b is projected with respect to the head portion 11a by a distance equal to the difference between the radii of the wheels 4a, 4b.

This applies a similar tension to that of other belt to the adhesion part 3 between the part 3 and an adjoining type 1a, a type base stand 1b, and a projection 1c.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform printing with positive printing cycles, by changing a driving pulse width of a pulse motor using a specified stage of the printing cycles. CONSTITUTION:At a time t1 a coincidence circuit output is obtained, and after one shot of a reference pulse (OSC) is delayed by a delay circuit, from t2 to t3 two shots of OSC are applied to a solenoid, thereafter till one shot t4 of OSC a motor is held, so that from T2 to T3 an electric current is passed through the solenoid and during four pulses of T2 to T4 the pulse motor is stopped. At the same time a type wheel is stopped and during t2-t3 a pulse signal is applied to the solenoid to perform printing. After the printing, when a restoring time t3-t4 has passed, the type wheel starts the rotation again. After this type selection printing stage has been completed, the paper feeding stage starts, and the output of a counter is applied to a pulse motor controlling circuit to extend the driving pulse with to increase the torque and to feed the paper.

摘要： PURPOSE:To minuaturize a printer and to improve the printing quality, by housing a hammer mechanism in a type wheel, and performing the rotation of the type wheel, and the feeding of paper by a pulse motor. CONSTITUTION:Before printing, pulse signals are applied at out of timing successively to the pulse motor and when every pulse signal is applied the type wheel is rotated by a certain degree. Then when command is issued from a control circuit for printing a specified letter, the type wheel is stopped at a prescribed printing position, an electric current flows through the coil 31 of a selected plunger 34 and a movable iron core 30 is attracted. As a result the hammer 23 moves forward, and a striking part 24 strikes a selected projection 10 of the type wheel, so that the printing paper 99 is pushed against a platen 76 to perform printing. In this occasion, the resilient type belt is extended to print securely.
