SOLUTION: This device has a pair of guide rails 12, 12 arranged on the side portion of an opening of a roof, a front rail 14 of which both ends are connected with their tips, and synthetic resin made gutters 19 with a substantially U-shaped cross section. This front rail 14 with a substantially U-shaped cross section consists of a front portion orthogonal to the pair of guide rails 12, 12 and a pair of side ends 25, 25. The both side ends 25, 25 of this front rail 14 are faced away from each other on the bottom wall of a pair of gutters 19, and rain water in the front rail 14 is flowed out through an opening 26 into the gutters 19 and then exhausted through a pipe 20 to the outside. Thus, without using a large housing, rigidity is secured and lightening is provided.

Shoes 30 serving as a pair of sliding pieces holding the sliding parts 14 of the check arm 11 in between, and a pair of rubber dampers 32 holding both shoes 30 in between are accommodated in a box like storage part 26C at the vertical center part of a case 26 fixed to the inner panel of a door. In this case, the shoe 30 is formed of polyacetal resin with a lubricative high polymer dispersed in the state of spherical micro grains of about 1mum by micro capsule technique.

The moment generated by the dead load of the balance weight 30 is small compared with that of a cantilever type balance weight. The balance weight holding part 45b is prevented from being slipped off in the opening direction by the retainer 90 so that the balance weight 30 can be stably held. The axial direction of the balance weight 30 can be set longer by the interval of the handle arm 45 so that its outer diameter can be set sufficiently narrow.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the start of an engine by the electronic keys of various shapes, by mounting an insertion port into which the electronic key can be inserted, and rotating a rotary switch by the electronic key inserted into the key insertion port. SOLUTION: In a rotary switch 24 where an electronic key 60 is inserted and operated, an operation knob 40 is formed in such manner that it is projected to a front face of the rotary switch 24, and a slit-shaped key insertion port 44 is formed. The operation knob 40 is made rotatable in a condition that a rectangular elecronic key 60 is inserted into the key insertion port 44, and the operation knob can be directly rotated by a hand. By applying this structure, the operation itself can be smoothly performed even when a driver possesses the electronic key which is not agreed with the shape of the key insertion port 44. That is, the electronic keys of various shapes can be applied as the electronic key 60, and it is unnecessary to change the shape of the key insertion port 44 corresponding to the shape of the electronic key 60.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip for a sliding roof using an organic glass plate capable of discharging outside the weather strip foreign matters intruding into a gap between the weather strip and the organic glass plate. SOLUTION: A sliding roof 11 consists of an organic glass plate 12, a weather strip 13 and a slide panel 14. A cover lip part 19 presses a peripheral upper part of the organic glass plate 12 and is adhered closely to it. A gap S absorbing an elongation of the organic glass plate 12 when it thermally deforms is provided between the weather strip 13 and an outer peripheral edge face of the organic glass plate 12. Pipes 22 are provided at each corner parts of the weather strip 13. The pipes 22 communicates the gap S with a bottom part of the sliding roof 11. When foreign matters such as refuse, water and mud enter into the gap S from an abutting part of the cover lip part 19 on the organic glass plate 12, the foreign matters are discharged outside the weather strip 13 from the gap S through the pipes 22.
