    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force change control device having excellent reliability which prevents a vehicle from being impossible to travel even when a position switch to detect a driving state is failed, or an electric contact is short-circuited.
      SOLUTION: A control means of an actuator of a driving force changing device stores a pattern of a present position switch, and detects an abnormality when the next pattern is different from the pattern estimated from the pattern map. In a driving force change control device, even when a worm wheel as a rotating body used for detecting the rotation of the actuator to change the driving state of a vehicle and a plurality of position switches arranged in a housing are failed, the failed state is determined from the preliminarily stored pattern corresponding to the driving state of the vehicle, and the driving state is not changed any more. Thus, continuous drive of the actuator for a long time can be avoided, and breakage of a motor can be prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a two-wheel/four-wheel drive shifting device capable of preventing gear noise generated under its low temperature operation and a smooth spline engaging or disengaging operation.
      SOLUTION: A two-wheel/four-wheel drive shifting device comprises a housing 11 having an electric motor fixed therein and its driving shaft guided, an output shaft rotatably supported at the housing and driven by the driving shaft of the electric motor, and a shift fork 26 drivingly connected to a gear arranged at the output shaft. A crutch mechanism for allowing an operation of the shift fork when a torque loaded to the shift fork under an operation of a spring compressed between an drive shaft and the output shaft of the electric motor and an operation of the shift fork exceeds a predetermined value is arranged on the shift fork. The clutch mechanism is arranged on the shift fork, thereby the engagement and disengagement operations can be performed instantly irrespective of a presence or non-presence of phase difference between the driving unit and the driven unit. In addition, it becomes also possible to eliminate the gear noise under a shift operation by properly adjusting an amount of stroke of the shift fork and thus it is possible to attain the two-wheel/four-wheel drive shifting device that is effective in its cost.

The unit 40 detects a motor current I flowing to the motor 31, detects an energizing time T1 from the start of the motor 31, and estimates a heating temperature T of the motor 31 according to the current I and the time T1.
