摘要：【課題】波長分割多重光から予め設定された複数の波長群に分離して複数の出力ポートからそれぞれ出力することができる、簡単に構成された波長群光合波分波器を提供することにある。【解決手段】波長分割多重光WDMが、波長チャネルに対応した分解能で分波可能であり且つ入力ポート16が1つずれることにより出力ポートが1つずつずれる特性を有するアレイ導波路格子AWGを合計2回通過させられることにより、その波長分割多重光WDMに含まれる複数の波長チャネルの一部をそれぞれ含む複数の波長群WBが複数の出力ポート18からそれぞれ出力されるので、複数の波長チャネルをそれぞれ含む複数の波長群WBが合波された波長分割多重光WDMから予め設定された複数の波長群WBに分離してその複数の波長群WBを複数の出力ポート18からそれぞれ出力する波長群光合波分波器10が、極めて簡単に得られる。【選択図】図3

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength selection switch which does not use MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) mirror array, whose layout is easy and which has high reliability and stability. SOLUTION: A one input port-M output port type wavelength selection switch inputs an optical signal from one input port to separate the optical signal into a plurality of optical signals having wavelengths different from one another, changes optical axes of the optical signals having the respective wavelengths to make the optical signals correspond to desired M (M is an integer of 2 or more) output ports, and outputs the optical signals corresponding to the respective output ports from the respective output ports by joining the plurality of optical signals having the wavelengths different from one another. The switch includes: an AWG (Arrayed Wavelength Grating) for separating the optical signal made incident on the input port into the plurality of optical signals having the wavelengths different from one another and for emitting the optical signals at emission angles corresponding to the wavelengths; a lens 40 condensing the optical signals separated for each wavelength; and a reflection type liquid crystal phase modulation element 200 giving phase differences to each of the condensed optical signals to change progress directions thereof. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch and a wavelength selection switch in which a high extinction ratio is obtained even if the coupling rate of a directional coupler or a multimode interference optical coupler which constitutes an optical branch and an optical multiplex branch is shifted from 50% due to a manufacturing error or the like. SOLUTION: The optical switch comprises: an input branch 1001 which branches an input light wave into four light waves; a phase shifter 2 which modulates the phase of each light wave; and an output light multiplex branch 3 which multiplexes, branches and outputs the four phase-modified light waves. The input branch 1001, the phase shifter 2 and the output light multiplex branch 3 are formed on the same planar light wave circuit. The input branch 1001 and the output light multiplex branch 3 have symmetry circuit configurations with respect to the phase shifter 2. In the optical switch, a path connecting a secondary stage directional coupler 131 and a third stage directional coupler 311 and a path connecting a secondary stage directional coupler 132 and a third stage directional coupler 312 are so set that all optical path lengths are equal.
