    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact plating apparatus which is used for a plating line. SOLUTION: The plating apparatus includes a workpiece holder 10, a moving device 20 (moving means), and a rotating device 30 (rotating means). Workpiece holding tools 40 (holding part) which are mounted on the workpiece holder 10 hold cap nuts 1 (workpiece) so that the cap nuts 1 can be laterally aligned at chp parts which extend outward against an axis line L1. The moving device 20 moves the workpiece holder 10 from one position to another position in a liquid tank 101. The rotating device 30 rotates the workpiece holder 10 around the axis line L1. The rotating device 30 rotates the workpiece holding tools 40 to the lower side when immersing the cap nuts 1 which are held by the workpiece holding tools 40 into a plating solution, and rotates the workpiece holding tools 40 to the upper side when the moving device 20 moves the cap nuts 1 held by the workpiece holding tools 40 from one position to the another position in the liquid tank 101.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bolt having improved liquid tightness while making the shape of a flange somewhat free without the need for caulking or welding a cap when mounted, and to provide its manufacturing method.
      SOLUTION: The cap 20 has a skirt portion 23 which is formed in a sloping shape farther from a cylinder portion 22 outward to the radial direction so as to be opposed to an inclined portion 12b of a flange 12 of a bolt body 10. When the cylinder portion 22 of the cap 20 is pressed into the outer peripheral face of a hexagonal portion 13 of the bolt body 10 with interference fit, the skirt portion 23 is thrust against the inclined portion 12b of the flange 12 of the bolt body 10, elastically deformed and put in close contact along the inclined portion 12b of the flange 12 of the bolt body 10 with the elastic force of the skirt portion 23. A front end 23c of the skirt portion 23 engages with a stepped portion 112c in close contact along the stepped portion 112c of the flange 12 of the bolt body 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel nut which does not require the adjustment for the precision of the fitting (contact) between the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical section of the nut body and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical section of a washer, and can reduce the cost for the manufacture/assembly, and also, to provide a wheel bolt which does not require the adjustment for the precision of the fitting (contact) between the outer peripheral surface of the spindle-like section of the bolt body and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical section of the washer, and can reduce costs for the manufacture/assembly.
      SOLUTION: The fitting (contact) position of the tapered form diameter expanded surface 2b of a bolt insertion hole 2a and the tapered outer peripheral surface 20b of the washer 20 is adjusted with the positioning between the seat surface 12a of a flange section 12 and the end surface 20a of the washer 20 when the wheel nut 100 is assembled as a reference. Thus, the fastening between a hub 1 and a disk wheel 2 is precisely performed, and slacking of the wheel nut 100 and a breakage of the wheel bolt 3 become hard to occur.

Here, when an amount of extension of the integral continuation part in screw shaft direction is denoted by L, and a radius of curvature of the radius corner part is denoted by r, then L/r is, for instance, selected as 0.65 to 1.5, and when a pitch of a male screw is indicated as P and the radius of curvature is indicated as r, then r is set within the range of P to 3P, or 1.5P to 2.5P.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capped nut that is free of nonconformity accompanied a welding technique, and easy in quality control. SOLUTION: A capped nut 10 comprises a nut body 2 and a cap 1. The nut body 2 has a female screw hole 20 with female threads 21, and also has an outside hole 22 which communicates with the female screw hole 20 at the side opposite to a male screw entry side 29. The cap 1 is provided with a cylinder 12 press fitted to the inner circumference of the outside hole 22 from its opening, and a cap body 14 integrally formed together with the press fitted cylinder 12 so as to plug the hole 22 of the nut body 2. Additionally, the press fitted cylinder 12 of the cap 1 has plurality of protrusions (serration) 13 which are formed on its outer surface and press-contact the inner circumference of the outside hole 22. Such press contact creates a friction, thus firmly fixing the cap 1 to the nut body 2.
