    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly pull out a sheathing panel between segments arranged adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction of a tunnel, and to easily convey the segments with less bulk. SOLUTION: A plurality of cross beams 1 are laid in parallel with one another along the circumferential direction of a tunnel. Side shutterings attached to longitudinally opposite ends of the cross beams 1 so as to couple the cross beams 1 together. A skin plate 2 is attached to the cross beams 1 and the side shutterings 4 so as to hole a natural ground in the tunnel. A sheathing panel 6 is attached to the inside of the skin plate 2 so as to be slidably in the circumferential direction of the tunnel, and is adapted to projected into a gap between segments which are arranged so as to be circumferentially adjacent each other, in order to hold a natural ground between the segments. Further, a plurality of reinforcing ribs 5 are attached to the cross beams, being arranged at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of the cross beams 1, and extending between the cross beams 1, 1, in a direction orthogonal to the cross-beams 1. Further, the side shutterings 4 are formed therein with slits through which sheathing panels 6 are projected, and water sealing packings 8 are fitted to the slits 7. Further, cut-outs 8a through which the sheathing panels 6 pierce are formed in the packings 8.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to set an initial value at a shapr curve area in automatic mode by computing the position..of a shield machine main body based on an angle which a rod forms with the shield machine and a carriage to be connected and the distance of the carriage to a wall surface. CONSTITUTION:Based on coordinates of a measurement point (a) and an azimuth thetaa, the coordinates of measurement points (b), (c) and (d) are determined from the angle determined with an angle detection device 10 and the length of rods 5 and 6. Then, the distances between the points P1 to P3 on a wall surface W is determined with a separation distance sensor 11. Based on the data, the points P1 to P3 on the wall surface W are decided as the reference points, thereby computing the coordinate the measurement point (d) of the shield machine main body 1. Then, the carriages 2 to 4 are moved by a single carriage. The coordiantes of the measurement points A and B after the movement are considered as identical to the coordinates of the measurement points (b) and (c) be fore the movement. When the data of the sensor 11 diffgers from that before the movement, its corrected portion is added thereto so ad to determine the coordinates of the measurement points A and B. The coordinates of measurements points C and D are computed based on newly obtained angles thetaB, thetaC and thetaD. This construction makes it possible to automate an initial setting at each curve area.

    • PURPOSE:To make erection of shield segments easy by a method wherein units comprising each of the segments are formed in trapezoid in plane figure, and the length on the outer peripheral edge of the unit is made longer than that on the inner peripheral edge. CONSTITUTION:A shield segment SO is constructed of one kind of units A1-A6 in quantity in even numbers. The units A are made in trapezoid in plane figure with the length (l1) on the outer peripheral edge made longer than the length (l2) on the inner peripheral edge. Both sides of the end face H of the unit is made in such form that lines of the sides cross each other at the center of the segment SO. The segment SO is made up in a way that the units A1-A3 in half the number of the units comprising the segment SO are placed so that they are equally distanced one another and the upper ends thereof look toward a face J, and the units A4-A6 comprising the other half of the segment are placed so that the lower ends thereof look toward the face J. Thereby expenses for forms for the units can be reduced, while making erection of the segments easy.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate fastening of a nut by furnishing No.1 thread part at the end of a through bolt, providing No.2 thread part at the foremost part having a dia. smaller than the No.1 thread part, and forming a tapered surface thinner toward the tip at the foremost of the No.2 thread part. CONSTITUTION:A nut 14 is previously fitted on No.2 thread part 12, and nut N is driven to No.1 thread part 11 using a bolt fastening device. Therein the fastening work is done easily because of guidance of tapered surfaces 13a, 14a, and adjoining segments are fastened together. Then the nut 14 is removed, and a mortar slipoff preventive member is fitted on the No.2 thread part-even in this case, easy insertion can be done owing to the tapered surface 13a - and the nut 14 is fastened, preventive member 5 fitted, and a bolt box 2 filled with mortar etc. Thereby the nut 14 can be easily fastened to a through bolt, and slipoff preventive means be provided simply.

    • PURPOSE:To need no suspension metal fittings and simplify a mechanism by inserting a grasping body set on a base body rotatably with reciprocating motion, into the holding metal fittings of a shield segment, to be engaged with each other, and by pulling up the segment to hold it with friction due to a pressing force. CONSTITUTION:An assembling device is operated, and the pad 3 of a holding device 1 is brought in contact with a segment S, and holding pins 10, 10 are confronted with holding metal fittings 20, 20. After that, jacks 4, 4 are extended, and the axial sections 12 and projected sections 13, 13 of the respective holding pins 10, 10 are inserted into internal sections 24 via the slits 26 of the metal fittings 20. After that, the jacks 4 are rotationally moved by 90 deg., and the upper surfaces of the projected sections 13, 13 are confronted with the lower surface, of flanges 25. Then, the jacks 4, 4 are shortened, and with the holding pins 10, 10, the segment S is pulled up, and the friction pad 3 is pressed against the inner peripheral wall of the segment S and is held. As a result, the mechanism of the holding device 1 can be simplified, and the weight of it can be lightened, and it can be compacted.
